    From Boise's perspective, the deal offered is tilted way too far to accept when you're talking about what is currently a second-tier program. If they get back to the elite program they used to be, the deal offered might make sense. Bottom line, Saturday, they played what may or may not be a better team, but at this moment in time, is without question a better program.

    I'm not sure I would go with vastly better, but I looked back to 2002 (that's as far as ESPN goes and I'm too lazy to look for another source) and Georgia is better than I expected.

    Why not talk about Nebraska's 20-8 to Georgia's 14-12 in the last 2 years or the fact that Georgia has won less games than the year before for each of the last three seasons? Nebraska improved two straight years and held at 10 wins last year. To say that Georgia is "without question the better program" is quite a bit off and they are definitely going in opposite directions.

    I honestly just stopped when I saw a season under 9 wins in 1968. They had a streak of 33 seasons with 9 or more wins ending in 2002

    Georgia has been vastly better over Nebraska the last 2 decades...lmao. Nebraska has more national titles in the last 2 decades than Georgia has conference titles in that time period.

    "I love playing early in the season in games like this," Boise State's Byron Hout said following Saturday's gouging of Georgia. "It sets the tone for the rest of the season. It's a taste of what a big bowl game can be like with this type of atmosphere. If you can do the right thing you can find yourself in another event like this at the end of the season."

    Win one big game early and you can play one more at the end of the season. What do you do for 11 games in between?

    Boise has a pretty sweet deal. Win one game a year and get an 8 figure payout.

    They won 11 games in the regular season last year. I don't think they got an 8 figure payout, though.
