karen lotzWelp, Rees will start the 2nd half.
-
Hamp89Thank God. Just get the ball in the playmaker's hands.
-
Laley23Stunned Rees is going in. Dont necessarily disagree with it, but Im stunned.
Its kind of lose-lose (going forward, not for today per se). If Rees plays well and wins, he has to be the starter for the rest of the year right? If he plays poor...well youve just fucked over the position. Situation 1 isnt bad, but taking out your starter after 1 half is just odd, because I doubt Rees plays every half perfect...in which case does Crist come in? No. -
karen lotzPanic button move. Hopefully he plays well and leads them to a win, but what happens if he struggles?

killer_ewokI like this move. A lot.

There's difference between a quarterback playing a poor half and being right in the game and playing a poor half and being down 16-0 at home to an inferior team though.Laley23;882190 wrote:Stunned Rees is going in. Dont necessarily disagree with it, but Im stunned.

The Irish need a spark. -

As I said, I dont disagree. But it is a panic. I wouldve liked Rees to be the starter to begin the year personally. But Im not a fan of pulling a guy after a half, and potentially (i know he is weak if this is the case) ruining the season for him should we need him (Crist).Mulva;882208 wrote:There's difference between a quarterback playing a poor half and being right in the game and playing a poor half and being down 16-0 at home to an inferior team though.

Tiger2003Good move by the snapper snapping his head down.
-
Laley23Wood and Floyd should touch (be targeted) the ball 60% (if not more) of the plays in this half.
-
SportsAndLadydear god, how unlucky is ND today?
-
Laley23Wow.
-
Tiger2003LMAO Kelly is about to kill someone.
-
tk421OMG, Kelly is fucking pissed!

royal_kThat was on the QB as much as the reciever. he threw a bullet at close distance.
-
tk421Wow, he wasn't even looking for the ball.
-
tk421Kelly looks like he's about to have a stroke, he's so red.
-
Laley23
No. You have to look for the ball. Too much traffic to not put mustard on that pass. His first couple options were covered.royal_k;882229 wrote:That was on the QB as much as the reciever. he threw a bullet at close distance. -

I understand that, but it was also behind him. If he leads him with more touch, it's a completion.Laley23;882233 wrote:No. You have to look for the ball. Too much traffic to not put mustard on that pass. His first couple options were covered. -
Tobias FünkeRees looks good. Offense looks better. God hates Notre Dame right now.
