Shocker, another list that tells me once again that OU is/was the best.

this isn't exactly a hard list to make, most anyone would come up with a list like that (and it closely correlates to the party school list)

Small towns where the college basically runs the joint make these lists. Nice, large cities that just so happen to have big universities never will, because they are just another small part of a huge city.

Just started grad school at UGA, and it does not surprise me that it is #1 on this list. The town is absolutely incredible.

    No state college?

Bleacherreport hasn't been to the 614.

Amherst needs to be knocked down a few (or a dozen) spots, yeah it's great if you worship Phish, promote hemp as the new cash crop and enjoy women with armpit hair. It isn't even a town, it is a commune of hippies.

    We're ranked #18. Plus I went to college at #8. :D

Surprised Colorado Springs (Air Force Acad.) isn't on there.

UGA is a nice campus, but Miami not being on the list let alone ranked under OU is a joke.

Oxford definitely should have made the list

how does a large metropolis like salt lake city make the list?

Whoops over looked it haha but state college should definitely be top 5

I'm assuming because it sucks otherwise, making the college atmosphere carry further out into the city. Most of the big cities you drive into don't suck, and have so much other stuff going on, that unless it's a football game day you would seriously have no idea that a school was there.

haha so if you make fun of a school, tahat means you didn't get accepted to that school??

You are so defensive, you post that same thing after every time someone says something negative about Miami

btw, other than this post, the only other time I can recall making this comment was when I was referring to you, since it's common knowledge (or should be) that you were waitlisted there--just sayin'

Havent been to all those places, but Bloomington (Indiana), Oxford (Miami) and Knoxville (Tennessee) are all WAY better than:

    -Illinois
    -Utah
    -Utah St.
    -Iowa City

Nope...I was accepted to Miami (among several others) and choose Ohio State because of the richness of their academic offerings, far reaching alumni, networking opportunityes, etc.

You are an alumni, I take it.
