    What do you think?

I for one am PUMPED we (Rutgers) got TCU at home next year!
  • Iliketurtles
They will go 10-0! Bank it!

They seem to have stepped it up. I'd love to see Ohio State play them anywhere.

Orange Bowl unless they beat Oklahoma then they'll be in BCS Championship game.
  • Mulva
I think they're a couple games short of a full schedule.

The funny party is that it isn't much harder than their MWC schedule was.
  • vball10set
I see potential losses vs. South Florida and/or at WVU
  • Iliketurtles
To be honest it will really depend on what order they play all these teams. Since they no longer play in a little sisters of the poor conference and are in a big bad BCS conference they can't take any weeks off now.

When did The Big East escape "little sisters of the poor" status? I must have missed it.

A tweet from Joe Schad covering the Big East media Day. Notice the comment from the TCU AD

The Big East would like expansion possibilities resolved by September 2012
TCU AD Chris Del Conte says depth in Big East top to bottom is better than MWC

    Your point?

The TCU AD admits the Big East is much deeper than the MWC,therefore your assertion the Big East schedule is no harder than the MWC is contradicted by TCU.

How can one opinion contradict another opinion? LOL

I could rest my case there and walk away, but I'll add on to that.

Do you really expect the Athletic Director at TCU to come out and say "You know what, the level of competition is better in the MWC, top-to-bottom, than in the Big East. I can't wait to be apart of the Big East family next season!" He'd have his ass chewed apart by the Big East AD's so quickly.

Furthermore, I think he is correct that, as a whole, the conference is better. Especially since Utah and BYU left the conference. I said it wasn't that much harder. The Big East is a freaking joke.

Right now it doesn't appear to be, but it really all depends on where the rest of those Big East teams are by next year. In the MWC the other teams weren't going to get substantially better in the near future. The Big East on the other hand could be a lot better by 2012.
