    That is the typical average.

Is it possible that we just hear about more bad calls now because we see more highlights and have more access to national opinions (where there's bound to be someone everyday who complains about a call of some type)?
    You got it.

Yup. In older times blown calls were only really shown if they were truly egregious. Nowadays, any missed call (no matter how important or unimportant) is extremely scrutinized due to instant replay.

You can get some killer lines on those preseason future games. Unfortunately I believe you can only put $300 on each one.

Over the last couple seasons there have been several dogs that I've taken with those early lines, that by the time the actual game rolls around, turn out to be the favorites.

78% of statistics are made up on the spot. Calling bullshit.

Your claim. If you present it, great. If you don't, you lied.

    I would agree with this.

Now he's piqued my interest...I'd love to see evidence of this "empirical data", since the interaction of sports and science fascinates me.

get the **** over it and worry about keeping your whiny ass quarterback happy because thats the only chance you have of finishing above .500 in the big 10

Am I reading that right? Someone with an OSU avatar criticizing a "whiny ass quarterback" and suggesting a sense of entitlement?

    Gee, that's rich.
