Lol that's what I was thinking

Genoa was included because all of a sudden (hint: when they started winning) the community support exploded. It was bad before Vicars got there and turned the program around.

This x1000. Before he got to Genoa they were terrible (1-9,2-8,3-7,3-7 4 years before he got there). He lost his very 1st game in 2007 and hasn't lost a regular season game since. They blow out pretty much everyone. Now, people stroke/poke off to Comet football around here.

Scarlet Knights aren't wearing much scarlet tonight
  • SportsAndLady
Well when the other teams red, the only thing you can really do is have scarlet lining?

    San San miss miss
  • SportsAndLady
    ^lol

He's the most hated Rutgers player in the history of Rutgers I think...and he's actually not too bad, he just misses easy ones (like tonight).

"Fuckin San San" is a common phrase.

How is Huggins doing this year?
  • SportsAndLady
He's had some fumbles...4 TDs on the year, but too many fumbles.

Jamison is a lot better..he's a freshman (redshirt) too.

Nah watched a minute or two. Turned it to the other game and now just kind of flipping around
  • SportsAndLady
Rutgers has one of the worst offenses in the country..but one of the best defenses.

Should be good for an 8+ win season with their schedule
  • SportsAndLady

My sister's ex-husband works at GenoaBank and said Vicars received a mortgage to get him to Genoa "that you'd never, ever see any bank make a deal on expecting to make any money on." Ohhhh, small town politics and having a player's dad be the local bank CEO... haha

It wouldn't surprise me. He came from Delta correct? Delta-At the time solid DV program. Genoa-shitty DIV program. IMO, he initially took a step down by taking the job... Look what he's built now.

My alma matter's coach has tried to hire him twice in the past 3 years after our HOF worthy coach stepped down at the end of the 2008 season. He runs a VERY similar offense to what we've been running since 1959. I'm glad Vicars is doing an awesome job at the school that employees me, but I wouldn't mind seeing him down in Augliaze County either.

Theyre not new, but Boise's grey uniforms are pretty slick
