Colorado vs Nebraska.....I hardly ever get to watch this game anymore b/c Steuby always plays that Friday after Thanksgiving, it seems like. Greatest moments??? Colorado CRUSHES #2Nebraska 62-36, with Chris Brown and Bobby Purify running all over the Pinkshirt, I mean Blackshirt D...They rode that wave of momentum to the B12 championship game where they knocked off #3 Texas to end up 3rd in the final reg season BCS poll. They missed out on the Championship game by .01 pts and Nebraska went to the final despite not even winning their division....The next year the BCS, realizing yet another mistake, awarded points to teams who won their conference championship.

In 1990, Bienemy overcomes 4 fumbles in a driving rainstorm to lead the Buffs to victory in Lincoln and onto a national championship. The last time they beat Nebraska until 2001 when they beat them 62-36.

Growing up, always enjoyed watching USC and UCLA both wear the home unis. Glad they went back to it.

Since ESPN, AP, Sports Illustrated, USA Today and every other sports news agency on the planet has conducted similar polls over the past few years and all declared the OSU vs scUM rivalry to be the greatest rivalry in ALL SPORTS...not just college football...BUT ALL SPORTS, I'd say this thread is pretty much over & done. wrap it up boys.

The question being posed isn't which rivalry is the best or the greatest, as you've pointed out, that question has already been answered. The question at hand is which rivalry is your favorite. It doesn't have to be the best to be your favorite.

    Um, no. Duke-Carolina. Basketball.

Two of the top five greatest programs in the history of college basketball, and they share the same barber. A combined 32 Final Fours and 8 national championships separated by just 8 miles of pine trees a couple of shades of blue.

    OSU-Michigan? Haha.

For football -- and there are way too many psychos to post on this particular board, so I'm not here often -- it is OSU-Michigan, I'll give you that.

Florida State-Florida or Florida State-Miami in their prime were more intense and heated rivalries, though. Can't wait to watch The U on Saturday on ESPN.

8 basketball national championships between the 2.....impressive

18 football national championships between Ohio State and Michigan.....even more impressive
(not to mention the 2 basketball national championships between the 2)
