Will you Be There?

  • Little Danny
I know the Bearcats finish 4-8 last year. I know must of you could give a rat's arse about UC. This video gets me pumped though. Can't wait for football to start.

    You know I'll be there.

Recruiting has really been picking up. We've already got commitments from some really talented players and more to come.

Agreed. I like the pipeline UC has built with Warren Central (Indianapolis) and am giddy to see they are picking up a recruit from Memphis (with interest from some other highly rated recruits out of Mempho).

You mean the same UC that 2 years ago thought they were as good as us (making bUCkeye state shirts) and then only finished 4-8 last year?

Not to be a dick, but I'm pretty sure OSU will be 0-12 for the 2010 season when all is said and done. Do you say "US" when talking about Florida too?

I'll take 4-8 with a clean program in a rebuilding year with a new coach.

    1-11, get it right! :P

Sugar Bowl win can't be stripped, the NCAA allowed the players to go in that game.

That kid from Memphis is going to be a stud DB.

Deonte Buckley is supposed to be the best RB in the state of Indiana, so I'm pretty pumped about him coming on board to add some depth to Poteat, Abernathy, and Teague from last year.

Our skill positions are really coming together in a big way and I think with this class we'll add some depth to the line. Williamson would be a 4 star recruit if he chose an SEC school and I like our chances with Sheldon Day on the DLine. (we already have commitments from 3 of his teammates)

We've been recruiting Indiana, Georgia, and Tennessee hard and are starting to see the results on paper. I think we'll see the results on the field in the next couple of years.

So sensitive. What was the score of the Florida game that year? Did Tebow have an incompletion? <- rhetorical.

Is Collaros still the QB? I dont follow UC that closely, but seemed he had a big let down from the year Pike got hurt

^ Zach is still the QB. Statistically he finished at the top of the Big East in passing. He threw the most TD's but he also threw the most interceptions as well. The Cats were hampered by a pourous offensive line and the turnover bug. The defense was attrocious which did not help matter.

This year the Bearcats return a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Collaros will still be handing the ball off to Isaiah Pead and will be throwing to explosive WR DJ Woods. Gone at WR is Armon Binns, but I expect big things from JUCO transfer Kembrell Thompkins. He was the #1 rated WR at the JUCO level two years ago. He originally signed a LOI with Tennessee but backed out when Kiffin bailed to USC. The Vols would not release him from his LOI so he sat out last year. From what I have seen at two practices kid is the real deal. The defense nearly returns their entire two deep roster. Of course, that could be a good thing or it could be a bad thing. The guys were bad last year but they are now a year older and more experienced. Got to think they will be much improved from last season.
