WVU Soap Opera getting interesting

  • Little Danny
If you remember, it was reported a few weeks back that WVU Coach in Waiting Dana Holgerson was asked to leave a West Virgnia casino last month. It was later reported by a writer in a West Virginia newspaper that it was the co-coach's sixth offense in three months.

Now it appears the wife of Head Coach Bill Stewart was the one who allegedly fed "false information" to the writer. Things are starting to heat up in Morgantown!

So he really didn't have 6 previous offenses? Is that what I am reading?

All kinds of stuff floating out there, but the rumor floating out there was there was one incident, and that Bill Stewart's wife may have supplied the writer with false information.

On the radio this morning Mike Leach called the situation "underhanded and hillbilly."

Damn right. Stewart should've locked Holgersen in a shed.

    That's far less "hillbilly."

Well, it is West Virginia, after all. "Class and sophistication" would be out of place.
