Yes. I'm not very good at the fan game, I have a million faults but hypocrisy isn't among them. -

I don't think the BCS ever removed that national title. Nice try.KnightRyder;788556 wrote:would the same go for USC's vacated national title?

You might want to try a better source than Wiki. USC has been stripped of that title.

BoatShoesA guy on the rivals.com messageboard who has been vigorously defending the bucks has suddenly changed his tune and says that tOSU will now get LOIC. Does anybody know what this is about?

I cannot see a way they avoid it. -

I agree but my point is that this guy who was blindly defending the Bucks in light of everything that was out already suddenly changed his tune. So, he must have come across new info. There is also this Gator fan who lives in Ohio but hates the Buckeyes to the point of obsession claiming that there's going to a point shaving scandal with the Bball team to come out. Has anyone heard of this? Don't intend to spread rumors but just wondering if anyone has heard anything about such things since this is an Ohio messageboard. -
WriterbuckeyeI've not heard a single peep about the basketball team in any way, shape or form.
The reason people who were defending OSU earlier have now switched 180 degrees (I'm one) is because of the stuff Pryor was apparently doing (getting paid thousands of dollars to sign stuff). The evidence of this is much stronger than any of the other stuff was (the SI article, for instance) mostly because Pryor himself is such a douche and flaunted new clothes, an expensive apartment, etc.
It's hard to hide those kinds of spoils, so I would expect the NCAA will pretty easily verify it, if they haven't already. Him leaving the program so suddenly is as good as an admission of guilty, in my view.
I expect the NCAA will amend their letter of allegations to include LOIC now, and OSU will be facing vacating at least two years of wins with Pryor, along with possible bowl bans and loss of scholarships.
My one hope is that OSU realizes the problem needs a much stronger response and will fire Smith and the entire compliance department for failing to do their jobs. Bring in someone to get things cleaned up, then hire a new AD and compliance staff. -

See below. I posted before the BCS stripped the title. I was correct when I stated that fact. Wiki is an excellent source, they update within minutes.Writerbuckeye;795137 wrote:You might want to try a better source than Wiki. USC has been stripped of that title.

Apologize for posting and insinuating that I was wrong in what I posted, even though at the time, I was correct in saying that USC hadn't been stripped of the BCS title.
BTW, I don't really want an apology, just messing around.
