Despite Tressel moving on, Michigan still blows

  • lhslep134
If this gets moved to the basement so be it. In all of this mess that Tressel and co have created, I think we've lost sight of how much Michigan sucked against Ohio State in the Tressel era. Webfire has re-ignited my hatred for Michigan and despite losing Tressel, let's never forget:

    9-1

Sorry mods if you have to give me a troll point for this.

Yeah its pretty hilarious that all the haters are coming out of the woodwork. OSU will still be on top, there's no doubt about it.

Saying they sucked doesn't give much credit to Coach Tressel. If they sucked a lesser Coach could have beat them.

I'd rather give more credit to Coach Tressel. He came into Ohio State and said he would beat Michigan. He did that 9 times in ten tries.

Seems like there are Michigan and ND fans piling on

Even with all of this OSU will still win a BCS games before either one of those programs. I dont care if they get a 5 year post season ban.

John Cooper...2-10. We can play that game too. See how fast that turned around? Better hope it doesn't swing back in our favor again, huh?

Even without Tressel, Ohio State has far more talent on the team than Michigan. Both will essentially have new coaches this season. OSU still has the advantage and it's not really close at this point.

Sure, you're good next year or so, but after that, nobody really knows. Talent doesn't always win the games if the coach can't coach either.

Ah yes, another enlightening post from Durkie.

Be careful there Dan Gilbert. People sometimes say silly things when their emotions become involved.

Nothing went over anybody's head. Guess it just wasn't that humorous to me.

Aww, are you pissed because I was right in that other thread? Poor baby.

Michigan is the least of my worries going forward. If (most likely when) OSU gets a bowl ban, the Michigan game becomes OSU's "bowl" game. There will be no lack of focus.

Let's be honest, if it was UM or ND going through this.....quite a few OSU fans would be piling on.

    LOL

Yeah right. Ohio State fans would be talking about how they are going to win a National Championship and big time games, something UM or ND never looks forward too.

Some would definitely be piling on. But it's clear that you're in deflection mode.

    Enjoy your day.

The difference is OSU's Bowl ban will come from being bad off the field. UM and ND's bowl bans come from being bad on the field. :)
