Includes two games on the BTN, as well as a lot of Pac-12 games from the new agreement in 2012.
This season, Johnson and Davis call Big 12, Conference USA and Pac-12 regular-season games on FX, as well as a pair of games for Big Ten Network, one of FOX’s two conference football championship games and the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. In 2012, they’ll call FOX’s regular-season over-the-air broadcast schedule, culled primarily from the network’s recently completed rights agreement with the Pac-12, as well as the aforementioned postseason assignments. In addition, Johnson also continues as the lead play-by-play voice for college basketball on Big Ten Network, will call FOX’s Pac-12 men’s basketball tournament games come 2013 and select NFL on FOX broadcasts following the college football season this year.

Hopefully at least one of the BTN games that he does is a Buckeye game. If not, I at least hope they give him games that should be competitive, even if it's something like Illinois and Northwestern. He'll get me to watch non-OSU games on BTN.

I also believe that this means he'll be doing more basketball for the BTN because he won't have any other responsibilities at the time.

From what I heard it wasn't just money, but politics involved with him leaving CBS. I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted the Final Four and they weren't willing to give it to him.

Yeah, there's stuff flying around that Nantz was basically trying to protect his turf, and CBS obliged.

CBS appears to have plugged their AFC Football hole created by Johnson's departure with Marv Albert (who had been calling games for Westwood One)
