  Herbie would have never seen the field if his Daddy hadn't been John Cooper's college roomate. Kent Graham labors behind this frat boy for three years and then gets drafted anyways and spends 7 yrs in the NFL. Herbie didn't take a single NFL snap. There are other reasons his wife wanted to leave Columbus, and it had nothing to do with the fans of OSU and more to do with the fans of Kirk. But it's better for Herbstreit's image (he thinks...wrongly) if he comes off as the victim in all this.
  
  Fact is, Herbstreit has become a parody of himself. With his faux tan and highlighted hair, his fragile ego now matches that of every diva who ever graced a public venue, whether it be stage, screen or in the booth for football games.
