yea i'm sure colt could do a great job of tackling ingramOneBuckeye wrote: Oh please it would be a different game if colt was in it has nothing to do with sec muscle -
NonIn some ways similar to the West Virginia-Notre Dame game when Major Harris got hurt early. He played hurt but wasn't close to 100 percent and the game was pretty much over.
-
King CurtisLee Corso is pissed right now.
I dont know why anybody in the world is surprised about this.
Yes I know that McCoy got knocked out, but this is the same D that shut Florida down and dominated that game. -

the sec *muscle* is why colt is out in the first place.OneBuckeye wrote: Oh please it would be a different game if colt was in it has nothing to do with sec muscle
with that said, bama is the far superior team.
only way this is close would be a bunch of fluke turnovers. -
just_a_swimmerLee Corso sounded drunk.
-
mhs95_06It would be a different game with Colt in there, that is true. But would Bama be less donimating? Hard to tell! It seems even now with each team winning one quarter by shut-out! (LOL)
By far the two most bonehead plays have been by Bama, resulting in all the points by Texas. Texas is behind the 8 ball. Do you want them going down trying(shovel pass) or taking a knee and not trying to make something happen? That was not even close to the boneheadedness of those two Bama mistakes! -
PrescottNo offense for Texas means the defense is on the field way too much.

Which there were at the beginning of the game. Texas didn't capitalize and the door shut REALLY quick when McCoy went out.rocket31 wrote:

NonCorso needs to retire pretty soon.
Sadly.
He had the stroke and is struggling. -
RedRider1Just watched it again...he either got some dental work and is still numb or he's "medicated." Hope he's not having stroke or something.

Wow. What a cheap shot.september63 wrote: Is Mark Ingram's dad at the game? Oh wait, he is sitting somewhere in jail!! LOL -
just_a_swimmerYou all are probably right. Texas played the first qtr on adrenaline, bama was nervous and screwed up. The game is 60 minutes and bama is the better team. Their calm now and have a huge lead. I don't see them coming back with or without McCoy.
-
dtdtimThis is karma for Texas. I'm not sure how but my roommate keeps saying it. I'm guessing it has something to do with the Big XII championship game.
Not yet, but it is definitely rivaling USC/Oklahoma and Ohio State/Florida.killer_ewok wrote: Worst. BCS. Title. Game. Ever.
Please go away.KnightRyder wrote: a new year , same old story. the sec flexing their muscle in the only bowl game that means anything. -

So it wasn't me then. He was having a problem?RedRider1 wrote: Just watched it again...he either got some dental work and is still numb or he's "medicated." Hope he's not having stroke or something.
Did he really have a stroke in the past? -
NonTexas got lucky against Oklahoma because Bradford went down.
-
PreacherTexas probably should have not won vs Nebraska.
Could you imagine Bama vs Cincy, Boise State, or TCU -

cheap shot? or just stating the truth?mallymal614 wrote:

TiernanWas that band a bunch of fat asses or what?

OneBuckeyeNo colt McCoy Injury... they go down the field 7-0.
After a bonehead play on the kickoff... they get at least a field goal if not a TD on the short field Texas 14-0. Bama gets away from the running game and Texas's defense keeps its edge. This game would have been completely different. It would be 14-14 at worst for texas if he didn't get injured. -
NonCorso had a stroke after last season I believe.
That's why they use Desmond a lot more now and Corso in certain spots. -
mhs95_06
Gilbert made a good throw that should have been a TD, that with a two point conversion, would have tied it at 14, but it was dropped.just_a_swimmer wrote: When McCoy goes down the Texas defense deflated. I agree. Different game with McCoy. He can hit his receivers. -
End of LinePerhaps McCoy is pulling a Ted Ginn???? (sarcasm)

It's the truth, but you laughing at it makes it as though you were taking a cheap shot at him.september63 wrote:

Corso sounded like he had another stroke this morning. He hasn't sounded 100% crisp this year because of it, but overall he had recovered quite well.Non wrote: Corso had a stroke after last season I believe.

He was like Dick Clark bad tonight.
