sleeperI mean, when you have a player like Sullinger, its hard to not place them #1.

Why, so they can lose to a 10 seeded FSU team again next year? LOL -
Laley23Indiana in the play in game.

Which is shocking and ridiculous. I don't see them finishing higher than 8th in the conference. The Big Ten won't get more than 6 in. -

Agree. Though I can see them ahead of:
Iowa
PSU
Minny
Nebraska
Northwestern
Illinois (Very, very outside chance). -
Azubuike24Minnesota is a mess but they still have more talent. With that said, Tubby is slowly destroying any clout he had in this business and I would not doubt he continues to slide and slide until they terminate him.
Nebraska returns almost everyone from a team that was on the bubble in the NCAA's. They should be, to say the least, projected to be better than Indiana.
Illinois. See Minnesota. Things are going in the wrong direction.
Iowa is a wild card, they could surprise people or be a tough team who still loses 12-13 games in the league.
Penn State and Northwestern, I agree.
I still don't see it though...not enough to make the NCAA Tournament. Maybe contend, similar to what a team like Nebraska or Maryland did this year, but not a serious NCAA candidate. -

I don thtink they will be ahead of all those guys. But I wouldnt be surprised with 1 or 2 of these 3 falling below them (Nebraska, Illinois, Minny) I doubt all 3 though.
So much depends on the health of our best players. Watford being out, I think, cost us 2 games last year (@MSU lost by 1 in OT and Iowa at home, lost by 1). That would have been 3 straight wins (beat Minny in between), and a lot more confidence possibly keeping us from the 8 straight loses to end the B10 year, but it is what it is.
I do agree that most teams will have more talent on paper, but I expect the IU home crowd to be as good as it has been since 2007/08. I expect our JRs to be, to be able to play on the road and not get rattled. Finally, I expect to have a rotation of 8 players, where I actually feel confident with any of them on the court.
-Hulls
-Creek (Jones III, if Creek not healthy)
-Oladipo
-Watford
-Zeller
-Sheehey
-Pritchard
-Jones III (Etherington, if Creek not healthy, and Jones starts) -
MulvaGonzaga and Temple both seem pretty badly overseeded to me. Florida may be too. Beal is going to be really good, but they won't have much depth or post game (unless Patric Young shows huge improvement).

Florida will have arguably the best backcourt in America though to offset the frontcourt. They will be pretty one dimensional though, I agree. -
clickclickboomThis looks exactly like this years field only teams have different seeds.. ridiculous seeds too.

Azubuike24The Gators may play four guards with Young taking huge responsibility on the inside. Imagine a lineup of Walker, Boynton, Rosario and Beal along with Young. That team could run you out of the gym and could shoot 30+ threes a game. On any given night, they could really make life miserable on another team. They kind of remind me of the team Tennessee had in Chris Lofton's Freshman and Sophomore years.
With that said, Florida will struggle defensively and on the glass, which will expose them against certain teams and be prone to losses against balanced teams who can defend the three. Unfortunately, at least three of those teams will be in the SEC with Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Alabama, all who bring size and very good defensive capabilities to the table. I still see Florida as a top 15 team though, they have way too much firepower to be held down all year. The question for them in the Tournament will be A) do they get hot and B) do the match-ups look favorable.
Erik Murphy's status is huge however. If he stays around, him and Yeguette are quality bigs to support Young inside. Those three would be good enough, kind of like Kentucky this year with Jones, Vargas and Harrellson to get away with a thin rotation on the inside. If Murphy isn't around, that's a big blow to Florida.
