karen lotzI'd say Penn State and Alabama have had the least amount of variation in their jerseys.
-
wildcats20I don't really care about it either way, I just find it funny when people say they stand for tradition in uni's and what not.

wildcats20Found this pic for Bama...
-
karen lotzThat pic is too small, could you maybe blow it up so I can tell what's going on??
After the addition of numbers to the jerseys, has there really been much change to Bama's? -
wildcats20lol I'll fix it.
Not really, but they have changed. -

THE4RINGZUnder modern day rules how much more old school can PSU and Alabama get?

swamisezRenfree is back and is a year removed from GaTech tearing to shreds. Lots of great receivers back (Connor Vernon, Brandon Watkins)
Some defensive holes to fill, and more playmakers are needed in the secondary.
All in all this should be a decent team by Duke standards. Having Stanford come to Wade in week 2 will do wonders for exposure but will be akin to Alabama last year.
I do hope there is a bowl game on the horizon, but the schedule is more difficult this year than two years ago. I am remaining hopeful. -

Little DannyThe new ASU uniforms reminds me of something out of the movie "Any Given Sunday".
That being said, I am sure ASU will sell ton of jerseys and the women who attend that campus will remain as hot as any in the country. -
Con_AlmaWearing black at home in the early season desert heat....nice.

Ohio State has pretty basic uniforms and they win the Big 10 nearly every year. Michigan also historically has been good in the Big 10 and both feature classic, simplifed unis. You think that Minnesota is attracting recruits away from Ohio State because their uniforms are flashy? Haha. I don't. At the end of the day, most recruiting battles are won by the head coach at the school and team's recent success. Not by how flashy Nike got with their alternate uniform.
I also have to laugh at the thought that the Big 10 plays "dull" on the field. Arent you an ACC guy? LOL. The ACC is garbage in football, you guys are lucky that Va Tech continues to bring some semblance of respectibility. Plenty of teams in the Big 10 run spread offenses similar to the SEC, etc. I really have no idea where the "dull" stuff came from. -
raiderbuckI'm a fan for all black jerseys. I especially like the matte black helmets. but I'm not a fan of the design of these. Too much for me. Looks more like Arena Football. I think they should just get rid of that little "check" on the shoulder stripe. Nix the "ASU" on the sides, and make the fork smaller on the helmets. Other than that, not bad.
Also...speak of Oregon...it amazes me that they don't have better looking basketball uni's. They have a brand spanking new arena, but lame jerseys? What gives? -
Al Bundykaren lotz;740506 wrote:Eh, its more just to get people excited and sell jerseys. I don't think we'll see Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC and Michigan going that route, although I have seen a few posters on a Notre Dame board saying they'd like to see it. Hopefully the throwbacks for the ND/Michigan game and occasional green jerseys are as far as Notre Dame goes with messing with jerseys.
I hope you are right, but I never thought I would see OSU wearing the garbage that they wore against Michigan that last two years. Schools will do anything for $$$$$$ -
sherm03DO NOT get an ASU hat/shirt with the new logo on it and wear it around Chicago...unless you want killed.
