Thats cool. I wonder if he will go back into any recent (or specific) years to figure them out as well.

There's no doubt in my mind that Sullinger was the best player in college basketball this year.
  • Ty Webb
    No...he wasn't sleeper

HIs performance againist Kentucky proved that

    And 16 rebounds.

He was bottled up by Harrelson if that's what Webb is trying to say though.

Right, because Jimmer never had a bad game and his team won the National Championship.

I thought Sullinger looked exposed against UK.

He has no post moves if he is guarded by someone bigger than he.

With that said.....its pretty damned good to score 21 and not being able to put any moves on. He gets points from drive and dishes, loose balls and rebounds.

LOL--is this supposed to be some kind of compliment? 21 points and 16 rebounds?? stop patronizing and save it for someone who needs it

Had plenty of opportunities to rebound Bufords shots ;), might be a lil exaggerated of a stat

Sorry, but you don't do what he did for 30some games, being named an all american and the best frosh in the country and NOT have post moves. The guy has tremendous footwork, knows how to get position, has a nice jump hook as well. Can he get better and develop more? Absolutely....and thats scarey.

    WTF is a "kPOY?"

    NM, I'm ratardad....
It is my honor to announce that Ohio State freshman Jared Sullinger is the winner of the inaugural kPOY. This season, Sullinger posted a 120.4 offensive rating while using 27% of the Buckeyes’ possessions while he was on the floor. The Buckeyes’ center also ranked in the top 50 nationally in both offensive and defensive rebounding percentage, and fouls drawn per minute. This, combined with Ohio State’s season-long excellence, allowed Sullinger to hold off an admirable post-season charge from UConn’s Kemba Walker. Congratulations, Jared.

It was a joke, more of a shot at Buford than truly believing that it was exaggerated lol. Thought it was kinda obvious, guess not lol

And as far as "owning" michigan...He dominated them once. Got his season average once. And had 12 and 7 with 6 turnovers while fouling out once

In one of his blog posts, I think Ken Pom did go back and name previous KPOY winners.

Jimmer was overrated. Great college scorer but who wouldn't be if they took 40 shots a game? And he has no defense at all. He will be a bust in the NBA. That's if he even gets drafted.
