Report: Lyles wanted 80k for Peterson to attend Texas A&M

Yet more stuff coming out. Is college football as dirty as it is looking currently? LSU involved with this possibly?

BTW, Lyles is the same guy involved with the 25K Oregon issue.

I would not be shocked if this happens at every major school.

It's amazing the flow of information coming out now. Are we seeing the baseball steroid scandal being repeated in CFB now?

So then how much did LSU pay??

Some of it is legit some is not. Reporters are looking for any former CFB players that need quick cash now and will say something negative about their university. I don't think it will reach that level however because this is nothing new. It went on in the 80s, it continued through the 90s as less people got caught and it is still happening. Watch the 30 for 30 pony express and the greatest that never was. The Trans A&M and Marcus Dupree's mom's trailer stories are pretty amazing.

Yeah, but that's how the steroid thing started. It had been happening for some time, and info started trickling in. Then it just exploded.

The end game is to get rid of the BCS. To do so they are going to tear down the top programs and conferences.

    Sounds like
the match is lit and LSU sports is covered in gasoline. Wont take long for LSU to go down in flames

Why are these programs using lyles and recruiting services like that in this day in age. Paying somebody 6,000 for a tape of a kid when you could go on scout, rivals, or even youtube just sounds dirty. These programs have their own in house recruiting, the only reason to pay lyles for his "services" is to direct these kids on who to sing with.

It sounds like lyles was going behind petersons back and saying he represented him. I don't think this is anything but a guy trying to get rich off of a top prospect

Patterson played for Kentucky last year so I doubt LSU paid him. ;)
