Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 12:00PM on ABC

I thought Pitt would win this one but glad to see that they did not.
Hopefully this is another step that keeps the coach there.

ANyone else see the ticker where it said that B Kelly would be willling to talk to ND?

Why all the negativity from Ohio state fans. Great year for cincy. Congrats.

Cincy had a great season (and I am a Buckeye fan)

The play off the game was Gilyard kickoff return after Cincy went down 31-10. If that return never happens, then likely Cincy loses this game. It seem as though that gave the bearcats new life since it happen near the end of the 1st half.

I would have liked to see OSU play Cinci this year. It would have been the only defense Cinci has seen all year.

Once I read the story it makes more sense, they're basing that statement of something he said at the beginning of last week.

Pitt's top 20 defense (according to LHSlep) doesn't count?

Pitt played NO ONE up until the last two games. And that top 20 defense sure didn't lool like a top 50 vs either one. BTW, i have no issue with UC winning. I was rooting for them.

Me too. I like rooting for Little Bro.

You better believe that NFL scouts saw Gilyard today, his draft status might go through the roof.

In the final analysis, at this point in the season, all Cincinnati had to do was win, They did. Next question? To win a Championship, there are two things you need to be. You need to be good and you need to be lucky. Cincinnati is undefeated, so I'm going to say that it's hard to deny that they are good. To give up 44 points and still escape with the victory probably has a few elements of luck involved, but somewhere I read once that good teams make their own luck. Perhaps that is what we saw today.

Where can I get one of these???

Congrats to UC. Obviously no one wants to give them the respect they deserve (namely OSU fans), so just go out and win your BCS game and leave it at that.

And for those who think UC hasn't played anyone, I know most that say that are OSU fans and I just don't get it. OSU hasn't played anyone either (IMO a lesser schedule) and lost two games.

Buckeye fan here and I completely agree. I really don't understand why they feel the need to come out a half hour after Cincy's UNDEFEATED season (Ohio State lost twice, including Purdue) and say Cincy is going to "get rolled" in the Bowl game.

Obviously these people aren't aware that Cincy is probably destined to play whichever turd the ACC sends

Pitt's defense was top 20 statistically going into this game. They certainly didn't perform like it, just like Oklahoma's offense didn't perform like a #1 offense against Florida last year.

Cinci could definitely win their BCS bowl depending on the matchup. They've had a great year and hats off to them.

Gilyard single handedly won them the game. The kickoff TD, the numerous returns that set up great field position. I was very impressed by Gilyard.

Everything I've heard, they'll get the Bama/FLA loser. And if that's the case, I can see them getting rolled. It depends on the matchup. I think they can beating the ACC winner or a Mid Major, but anyone else and I see them losing, some will be close, like Texas, some may be blowout like Bama/Fla.

But without a doubt the Bearcats did all they could do and that's win all the games infront of them. Congrats on going undefeated!

Yeah Dynasty said that too. I agree they will probably lose if they play an SEC team but if they do get the favorable ACC matchup then look out

Is that maybe because Cincinnati's offense was just better than the Pitt defense? They didn't perform like it because they got outplayed.
