  No, I think it was goaltend. The rule is ANY part of the ball, and the rim extends all the way to the heavens.

  What's scary is that he is a just a freshman. He's torched my Bearcats twice this year. He is going to be a very going player for the Huskies for the next couple of years.

  He is correct. It used to be that the ball actually had to be within' the cylinder, but they changed it a few years back to basically mimic the NBA rule.
