  • Scarlet_Buckeye
What does everyone think tOSU's record will be AFTER their first 5 games.

No discussion... no banter... just respond with a simply W - L format, please.

    Week 1 vs. Akron
    Week 2 vs. Toledo
    Week 3 @ Miami (Fl.)
    Week 4 vs. Colorado
    Week 5 vs. Michigan St.

this--and at the very worst 4-1

That game against Toledo is interesting to me especially with the recruiting class Beckman pulled in last year. I don't think the rockets will win but they could make it interesting for awhile.

Wow, what a shocker. The most passive aggressive Ohio State hater thinks they'll lose 2 games. To which teams? Miami I can understand, but if you think they are losing at home to either of the other 4, I think you are high. Quote me on that one. MSU is vastly overrated and the other 3 just aren't that good.

    Week 1 vs. Akron (W)
    Week 2 vs. Toledo (W)
    Week 3 @ Miami (Fl.) (?)
    Week 4 vs. Colorado (W)
Week 5 vs. Michigan St. (W)

5-0 and 4-1 at worst. Buckeyes will still be solid on the defensive side and still should have enough on offense, especially if Miller picks up the offense.

4-1 at worst. Maybe my Canes get them at home if the QB plays well. No one else will.

5-0. It's the 6th game against Nebraska that they will lose with little prep time for the new starters.

That defense is going to be scary good yet again.

    5-0

Their defense will carry them and I think they will have enough talent in the backfield to carry the offense. Only one road game against Miami who has a lot of question marks also.

All depends on who the QB is.....

If it's Guiton or Miller, then maybe they go 5-0

If it's Bauserman, they might be lucky to be 3-2

    5-0

And dont think the guys who are out wont be getting plenty of work while they are out. They will also be watching film on Nebraska from week 1-6 since that is their first opponent. They will likely have more prep time than normal for Nebraska.

You too? Okay, I make a prediction and all of a sudden I'm a hater.

I don't think you can underestimate the loss of Pryor and Posey. They already have to replace Sanzenbacher, so they will be replacing 2 WR's, possibly playing a freshman QB without their LT and RB. Those are not easy positions to replace.

I think there is the potential to lose against Miami, Colorado and Michigan St.

Add in the controversy and questions that will be asked and I don't think it is going to be an easy start of the year.
