They are not going to pay Crean for 6 years to not coach them. Just stop. They have no budget outside of basketball and already owe 3 football coaches money and 2 basketball coaches.
BTW, this class coming in....not that great. It has Cody Zeller, who, like his brother, wont be a HUGE impact player as a freshman. He will take time to get muscle mass. Please dont be like every other retarded media outlet that keeps saying 2011 is a great class for Crean and Indiana. Its just a lie. The class that matter is 2012. -

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering as I do not follow recruitng much at all. Topic came up last night as I was rooting for butler that if they continued to do well could that harm IU recruiting.
I remember Gene Kaedy yearas ago saying he wished his school, purdue, had the name indiana in the school name in some shape or form t help with recruiting and such! Prolly was tongue-in-cheek but still... -

I wouldnt worry about it. Indiana is still THE school in the state. Everyone grows up as a fan because their friends and family are all fans. Hell, Jeremy Hollowells parents graduated from Purdue, and he choose Indiana! -
Laley23By the way, listening to the Dan Dakich show today on the way from Toledo to Bloomington, and he had Matt Howard on...really funny and witty kid.

thavoiceWhat is the only guy to ever "stop" Michael Jordan up to these days? Did see him on ESPN not too long ago. Used to have a BGSU hat signed by him but it went into the trash bags when i moved recently.

Hosting a radio show on ESPN affiliate in Indy, 1070 the fan. Then he is doing color analyst for ESPN as well as some studio work for the BTN and ESPN. His radio show is pretty good, and I enjoy his thoughts as a color analyst.
