Making the best of it

CinciX12If you are going to be in a conference that lacks the appeal of a 'Big Six'. Those quotes are solely to dismiss the Pac 10, screw those losers. Then you might as well be really, really, really f'ing good at it.
5 Straight Atlantic 10 Regular Season Conference Titles. Those are a lot of capitalized words for a team that has turned out to be relatively decent given how pathetic and mindnumbingly awful the beginning of this year was. Turned out my senior year didn't quite suck after all.
Humor me and pretend that the A10 is worthwhile for a night/day.
Here's to being the 2nd best team in Ohio and Ohio having 2 teams who can certainly argue for a Sweet 16 appearance this year -

Obviously you forgot to include Ohio State in your analysis in the last sentence. I admit they are the best in the state. -
CinciX12I was talking about Wright State. Ohio State is clearly afraid to play them and should be called out for it.
-
Little DannyIn all seriousness, I would love if we had a preseason tournament in Ohio every year. They could call it the Ohio Cup or whatever. They could invite OSU, UC, XU, UD, WSU and the MAC schools and rotate it a different locations.
Congrats to Xavier on wrapping up the A10 once again. -

In all seriousness, a 13 team tournament???Little Danny;698131 wrote:In all seriousness, I would love if we had a preseason tournament in Ohio every year. They could call it the Ohio Cup or whatever. They could invite OSU, UC, XU, UD, WSU and the MAC schools and rotate it a different locations.
Congrats to Xavier on wrapping up the A10 once again.
In all seriousness, you forgot Cleveland State and Youngstown State.
In all seriousness, the Ohio MAC schools already play each other at least once and possibly as many as 3 times in a given year.
In all seriousness, Wright State, Cleveland State and Youngstown State already play each other twice or three times in a given year.
In all seriousness, Dayton and Xavier already play each other twice or three times in a given year.
In all seriousness, Ohio State could play each of other 12 Div1 teams in the State, one a year, on a 12 year rotating basis. And only if they play at Ohio State every year. -
Big GainOhio State clearly has nothing to gain by playing Xavier.

Ohio State clearly has nothing to gain by playing Wright State OR Xavier. Sorry, but it is not possible to "call out" BY FAR the top program in Ohio, the top program in The Big Ten, the top program in the Mid-West and currently the #1 rated team in the country. -
Little DannyWow, I obviously hit a nerve. Three points:
1. My point was not to create a final list of invites or to fully explain how the tournament would work. It was just to make the point. Sorry if I did not include your school
2. My "In all seriousness" comment was made in reference to the little barb that X12 and I share and you probably don't understand.
3. Thanks for derailing the OP's thread where he was was commenting on his team's run after a shaky start. -
dokkenIn all seriousness, I would like to see Ohio State play X, Dayton and Cinci, BUT, I would like to see Ohio State travel to these places some years.
-
SportsAndLadyIn all seriousness, Big Gain is a fucking loser.
But seriously in all seriousness, I like the Ohio Cup tourney idea -

And double This for the part in bold. -
CinciX12You are a fucking idiot and a waste of existence if you do not realize that the Wright State comment was a joke. What fucking gene pool were you lucky enough to be born into? Un-fucking-believable.
Fucks like you are everything that is wrong with the world. -

OSU would win every year. -
september63I wouldnt put Xavier ahead of Cleveland State quite so fast here.

I'm just going to go ahead and scratch my head at that. But you are entitled to your opinion. -

Only "Fucks" like you are incapable of recognizing facetiousness in answer to a "joke" post. 1. Ohio State is "my school", just pointing out there are more Div1 schools in Ohio than you considered.
2. My "in all seriousness" comment was made as a smaller barb than yours.
3. Impossible to derail anything of seriousness. -

Yes, you are correct!! Your head isn't so far shoved up everything having to do with Ohio State that it would make perfect sense to assume you were joking!
You were not joking, you were being a douchebag.
Kindly fuck off. -

Most power rating systems list Xavier as 3 points better than CSU. I didnt say CSU was the better team, just that they are closer than you think. -

I'm pretty sure Cinci is taking an overall, more than just this year, look at X.
And overall X >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> CSU -

Link?
I'd say there's a reason X has a top 25 ranking, and CSU is nowhere to be found. -

Yeah. ESPN has X at 18 on their power rankings. CSU isn't even "receiving votes" -
