Ben Hansbrough or Jimmer Fredette?
-
september63Who will be the better NBA player?
Villanova coach Jay Wright just cast his vote for Hansbrough as the better NBA player. -
karen lotzTough call. Fredette either isn't asked to play defense or just plain can't but is the better offensive player. Hansbrough has probably the better all around game including defense so I might have to lean that way.
-
thedynasty1998Interesting question. I think Fredette is a great college player, but I really don't see him fitting into the NBA. He plays no defense and really won't be able to guard anyone in the NBA. I like Hansbrough's all around game, but I'm skeptical if he can even be a starter in the NBA.
With that said, I take Hansbrough. -
Hb31187Dont think either will start, or contribute THAT much IMO. But if i had to take one, id take Hansbrough
-
Scarlet_BuckeyeThey play defense in the NBA?

I understand that they don't play as hard defensively as possible, but I never understood this perception. It's probably a discussion for a different thread, but I think defense is played at an extremely high level in the NBA. -
KR1245I dont think either one has an impact in the NBA. I guess I'll take Jimmer
-
IliketurtlesI'll take Hansbrough. Although I agree I dont think either will do much in the NBA.

I agree with this. The players in the NBA are so much more athletic that I think it makes it playing defense more intense and more difficult, not necessarily a lack of effort. -
daveHansbrough for sure. He's already playing against a future NBA player or 2 or 3 every game. Jimmer has only faced a couple all year.
-
september63Jimmer is 6'2" 195 and Hansbrough is 6'3" 205.
-
reclegend22If I had to pick, neither.
-
JesterIn the 2 mock draft's I follow, Jimmer has been in the 10-15 range. Neither has Hansbrough being drafted.
-
se-alumI don't think either of them will contribute in the NBA either, but Hansbrough said on PTI that he is a better shooter than Diebs, so I'm taking Fredette.

You would think that after his brother owned your team's ass for most of his career, you might come close to spelling Hansbrough correctly.ccrunner609;697872 wrote:Hansbourough is playing in Europe and Jimmer will be there shortly after.
Yeah, I know, grammar police. By the way, Carolina is now 13-2 in ACC play. I guess you got one wrong for a change. -

Probably doesn't know they are brothers. -
wildcats20Oh and a TON of people said Curry couldn't play in the League either.....
-
karen lotzI DIDN'T KNOW JIMMER AND TYLER WERE BROTHERS!!!!!

STOP YELLING AT ME!!!!
And yeah that's old news, where ya been?? -
karen lotzI've been depressed lately so I've been running a lot.

hoops23I think Jimmer is highly overrated.
To me, he's this years Adam Morrison. A dude who can shoot, but doesn't do much else. Sure, he can hit some deep threes, but honestly, it's nothing I haven't seen before.
The way ESPN treats this guy is like he's the first one to pull up from just 30 feet and drill a 3 pointer, and the new "Jimmer range" thing on SC is kind of stupid.
If I had to pick, I'd go Ben all the way. Going ape shit on Villanova is a lot different than going ape shit on the "little sisters of the poor"...
