Updates? Is it back and forth?
I see 8-7 Wisconsin on ESPN gametracker.

Who else is excited CBS has teamed up with Teddy Turner for the Tourney this year?? I hated having to go by what CBS told me to watch based on geography.

EDIT: TS1227 beat me to the pre-empting laws lol.

I think it's bullshit that any contract can prevent it switching in the home market of the other team playing.

I am the type of guy who looks to see the start of a game to get a feel for it. CBS screwed that.

    Me too.

Of course commercial after the game is over ...SMH
  • LJ
And I'll say it again, I think Home Market should get priority over anything else. Such bullshit

Missed almost 7 minutes of the 1st half...

You got to be fucking kidding me... major fail
  • Jester
We go from commercials, back to the game during a timeout, and back to more commercials.

    Gay.
  • ts1227
I feel sorry for the poor bastard at Channel 10 who gets stuck answering all of the retards calling in to bitch about something the station has no control over.

    Yes I can

Radio hasn't missed a second. Paul Keels sounds a bit hoarse today though.

Then come back just in time for the OSU game to go to commercial. CBS sucks. I can't wait until ESPN takes over the broadcast of the tournament. I genuinely believe that nobody, with the possible exception of Fox, could screw up coverage worse than them.

Dont disagree completely, but they gotta make money. The only logical way is to start the games at 2:30 apart and not 2:00. But then you dont get the news at six, which is basically illegal. If you change to only 2 games, with a studio show in-between, you miss out on a 3rd game and a TON of money.

They need to find a way to authorize pre-empting in given markets...but it is just not likely to happen for March games.

Hey, we just want to see our team play. Number 1 team in the country trumps a mid major game any day ,expect today apparently.

Wow that dude was fucking huge.

I have no problem with pre-empting stuff in home markets, but since it was a conference championship game (regardless of the conference) the conference has to protect their brand, visibility, etc. and make sure that airs in its entirety nationally, especially when you have a contract with network TV and not cable like most small conferences. Every other conference does the same thing, can you really blame them?

Oh shut the fuck up Karen. I'm sitting here in COLUMBUS and couldn't watch the team in COLUMBUS play because of some stupid meaningless game. Tell me how that is whining or even makes sense to you.
  • karen lotz
    OMG another commercial.

I wasn't directing it at you. You can do whatever you want.

And I don't think that other game was meaningless. If either of the two was meaningless, its the OSU game.

Yes, because people in the home market that have a game playing don't care.
