devil1197Does a W at home against #8 Purude put MSU back into the tournament?
-
wildcats20No.
They are already back in. -

You think so?
I am on the fence with MSU. I really think they need a big win down the stretch.
They got spanked by Wisconsin and beat by double digits against OSU. I really don't think they can 0-3 with another loss to a top B10 team.
They cannot get in just on SOS, they gotta at least win some of these games. -
wildcats20They lost by 10 to OSU. And it was a close game the entire way, let's not act like it was the same as a 26 point beat down by Wisky.
But yes, I think they are in. Obviously a win today would put them on the right side of the bubble. But I don't think a loss would crush their chances. -
Tiger2003Just like Wildcats said they are already in the Big Dance. I really believe they will beat Purdue. I see MSU as a 7 seed and a very dangerous team in the Tournament because of Izzo. I would not want to play them in the first 2 rounds.
-
wildcats20Oh and they have also BEAT Wisky.

I know that but down the stretch they need a big W against one of the top teams.
They are 4-6 in their last 10 games including some big and embarassing losses.
I truly believe they need to beat one of the big 3 down the stretch, this is their last chance.
Hell their last two games aren't gimmies, they lost to UM and Iowa. -
ytownfootballUM isn't a bad loss, they're a solid bubble team as of now, Iowa was a pretty bad loss, but not as horrible now as it was at the time. I think they're in just on name, SOS and Izzo alone. 1-2 down the stretch seals it, 0-3 and a couple tourney (Big 10) wins seals it.

sleeperIt's a joke that MSU is getting into the tournament. 1 win against Wisconsin doesn't get you into the tournament. This is a must win, and even if they win, I still think they deserve the NIT.
-
Cleveland BuckThey are already in. If they beat Purdue today they would probably be in the top half of the bracket (8 seed or better).
-
Hb31187Lmao @ Sleeper
-
Cleveland BuckI don't know if they will beat them though. Purdue is playing as well as any team in the country right now.
-
MulvaPurdue is up 31-18.

Assuming the eventual loss to Purdue:
They will be 3-9 against the top 50 RPI.
16-12, 8-8 in the Big Ten
This team should be NIT bound. -
Cleveland BuckThey would be in the NIT if the NCAA tournament only had 40 teams in it.

Tiger2003This announcer is an idiot. Saying the MSU defender played poor defense it was 4 on 1 for god sake.
-
Tiger2003How is that a jump ball?
Everything going Purdue's way. -
Tiger2003After watching Michigan St today they don't deserve a spot in the tournament.
-
devil1197They look like a tournament team.
Not. -
SportsAndLady37 points with 6 minutes in the game...jesus christ
-
devil1197Tournament teams aren't losing by 20 points at home at the END OF FEBRUARY.
Ridiculous. -

Lucas has 21 of them. -
centralbucksfanMSU is headed to the NIT unless they can win the BT tourney (which they won't).
