Whats going on in Ft Worth?

absolutely fucking disgusting. reading the details of the story, about halfway through, made me nauseous. The girl allegedly got drugged, woke up with her clothes on inside out and her bra missing, and four days later had an outbreak of herpes that required hospitalization.

if what is being accused happened, on both the player and university levels, there needs to be something done. Bad press for TCU either way, and I enjoy seeing them be successful.

The world today. We will overlook a lot to win bowl games.

Looks to me like the girl is just trying to get paid since TCU is now a big time program. Doubtful she can win since this happened over 4 years ago and she dropped the charges.

thats just one part of the problem. multiple sources are reporting that the school has gone out of its way to cover up multiple on campus incidents involving athletes from multiple sports teams. One teacher is saying that she had repeatedly requested for a student (Jones) to be taken out of her class, not only because he was academically unable to participate in the class, but also because he had behavior problems in the classroom. you mean to tell me that a 19-22 year old cant control himself in an academic environment? He also failed multiple drug tests for marijuana (i really dont care to be honest, i would too). So its not just the girl, who may or not be money grabbing, its everyone.

The thing with TCU is that it's such a small school, think it only has like 8,000 students, it's much harder to hide things like this. Not to say something didn't happen, but when something does usually everyone knows right away and it's much harder to keep quiet.

    From the article:
More than a year later, the Tarrant County district attorney's office dropped the charges against the three athletes. Prosecutors have repeatedly declined to disclose a reason for their decision.

E-mails recently obtained by the AP show the woman agreed not to move forward after the lead prosecutor informed her that the case would be difficult to win.
