Satch Sullinger to Retire From Coaching
-
PrescottJared Sullinger's father, Satch Sullinger, has decided this will be his final year as a high school basketball coach. He will continue to teach through the 2014 season. The reasons cited included losing half of the OSU basketball games.
Is this decision give any indication of when Jared's pro career will begin ?

I think it does, Sullinger will be a SR in 2014 so that lines up pretty well .Prescott;688820 wrote:Jared Sullinger's father, Satch Sullinger, has decided this will be his final year as a high school basketball coach. I doubt this gives any indication one way or the other regarding Jared's departure, Satch has been at it quite awhile. They've always said that barring a National Title his Frosh season, he would explore leaving following his sophomore season. I still believe that though I have no real reason to do so. -

Laley23I guess you can look at it as a reason to continue to watch his son more...but did it never affect Jared when he was at OSU??

He probably didn't have any choice when JJ played. He now qualifies for retirement so he's choosing to do it and spend more time watching his son play. I think that's great, and I hope he's in the stands watching Jared play for OSU 3 years from now.
