So you have them losing 2 regular season games yet. At Wisc and the other?

I'm guessing @ Purdue. Won't be an easy game considering it's on the road, and they won't forget what OSU done to them in Columbus.

I'll be shocked if they don't go 40-0. Best team in the country, its not even close.

    Loss in the Sweet Sixteen

I am starting to believe that they will finish the regular season at 30-1, with the loss coming Saturday. And win the B10 tournament. That puts the record at 33-1 going to the NCAA's.

And depending on the draw in the Big Dance, I think they win 3 games. Which would be an Elite 8 appearance and IMO it ends there.

So that puts their record at 36-2.

    So I'll take the over.

Ohio State get's a #1 seed and plays in Cleveland. I'm hoping Notre Dame keeps playing well and gets the #2 Seed in Ohio State's bracket. A matchup very favorable for Ohio State. It's said there is more pressure in the Elite 8 game, getting to the Final Four, then the games at the Final Four.

    Take the over.

That would be an interesting match-up, but I don't see ND winning 3 games in the tourny.

The most recent Bracketology has Dook as the 2 seed in OSU's bracket. That would be a scary Elite 8 game lol.

And obviously this all depends on match ups too.

    Indiana...duh.

For real, Penn State or Purdue I think will knock them off. But thats conditional to a Wisky loss. If they get by on Saturday, I think they run the table to the FF.

Do they play the 1st 1 seed against the 4th 2 seed? How does OSU get matched up against Duke? I know the polls don't have a ton of influence on the seeding, but can someone explain that to me?

The Top #1 Seed get the 4th #2 seed and so on down the rank.

They don't have Ohio State as the top #1 seed.

    That's what I thought. Thanks

That makes sense I guess, but they do have them playing one of the play-in teams so I would think they would be at least the 2nd #1. That must mean they have Duke as the 3rd or 4th #2?

4 play ins this year. But yes, 2 are the 16 seed and the other 2 I think 12 seeds.

And the SAY they match them up Top seed with weak 2, and weak 3/4 etc etc etc. But geography and money are far more important to them, no matter what the hell they try to sell me via the media.

Wow, I didn't realize the other play in games are the 12 seeds. That's odd!

Im not sure if it is for sure the 12s. But it is the last four in the tourney, and then the last 4 at larges.

So basically, the traditional 16 seeds, and then the 34-37 at larges. I think the committee will decide if those 2 play ins are better suited as 11/12/13 seeds. I would assume they will be the 12 though.
