  This has given me (and other KU posters) a good laugh after tonights game...this was in regards to Alex Murphy choosing Duke over KU today:

  That quote abounds with absurdity. It's like reading Alice in Wonderland. I'm assuming the originator of that gem of an idea simply omitted the word 'not' by error in the second sentence. If not, then that quote is even better, because it would insinuate that the quoted person not only thinks that Coach K's college team is benefitting unfairly from the USA club exposure, but also that he (the quoted person) isn't entirely positive of whether Coach K is an NBA or college coach. He might be confusing the Duke Blue Devils with the Charlotte Bobcats, which is more than understandable. They are both located in North Carolina.

  S&L, what other KU posters are on here besides you? I've always liked the Jayhawks, but you're the only one on here who has them as your favorite team as far as I know--just curious.

  I know slingshot is a KU fan...and do you remember Hank? He was a great poster (biased as hell, but in a good way) but he has not been around lately. I could be wrong but I think the one poster who always does the "top posters" formula on the serious business forum is a KU fan. Other than that, I believe that's all.

  thanks...I like the diversity, especially when it comes to people rooting for teams outside our general geographic area of Ohio and Michigan-- it makes for lively discussions, particularly when March Madness rolls around.

  Yup, KU fan here. Been a fan since the days of LeFrentz, Vaughn, Haas, Pierce, etc. Having graduated from OSU though KU is now my second favorite team.

  I would say the hate that KU people have for KSU is because there are more KSU grads living in lawrence and pretty much most areas in kansas (besides kc). I do know some people who went to Mizzou though and the despise KU. So maybe from the outside looking in its kinda like OSU hates michigan but michigan fans hate both osu and msu. BTW Oklahoma Joes is worth the drive from Columbus. On my move back to Columbus I stopped ad bought 10 bottles of night of the living dead sauce. S&L as a Kansas fan i have to tell you that they all hate Knight (mainly cus he said a couple negitive things about Collins last year and saying he should be benched.) Ever since he made that comment i didnt know a single ku fan who would admit he is a good broadcaster. Bill Self was a really good guy i meant him twice once before late night in the phog and again at a football game. I was introduced by my friend in the athletic department and he took time to ask us what we were doing in lawrence wearing buckeye gear and the next time I saw him he remembered me and asked if i had converted to being a KU fan yet. I can see why players want to play for a guy who can remember every little detail like this with pretty much anyone he meets.
