-
KR1245weird game
Its now 19-13 with the Cuse going to the line for 2 -
karen lotzDon't call it a comeback.
-
killer_ewokJust a crazy half.
-
karen lotzCuse couldn't throw it in the ocean for a while there. They looked kind of timid, especially around the basket.
-
karen lotzI would likely be a little intimidated in the paint if that McGhee dude was playing against me. How many horse steroid pills does he take a day? I say at least 6.
-
killer_ewokDown 4 after being on the wrong end of a 19-0 run?
I'll take it. -
killer_ewokYeah, Pitt is going to win this one. They're a damn good team and the Zoo is an extremely tough place to play.
I'm not happy with the result but I am proud of the resolve Syracuse displayed tonight. They coulda panicked and mailed it in early down 19-0 eight minutes into the game but they didn't. Youngsters like Fair really stepped up tonight and Southerland showed some flashes. I thought they might lose this game before I knew Joesph was out so that's no excuse. Pitt's just damn good. Two good teams battled tonight and it was an entertaining game. Congrats to Pitt.
Syracuse has no time to dwell on the loss as a sure-to-be-pissed off Villanova team makes their way to the Carrier Dome on Saturday. Hopefully, Joseph is back for that one. Back-to-back losses after such a great start would be a real bummer. Gotta regroup and respond. -
burt07Not getting the chance to see much of these two teams up to this point in the season I came away pretty impressed with what I saw, both teams are extremely athletic. It seemed like not only could every player on Pittsburgh punch it home, but punch it home hard. As for Syracuse, obviously kind of hard to give a full assessment without Joseph but even without him they are a solid team. Both should be major players come March.
