NFL starting lineups based on their colleges - which conference reigns supreme???
-
BigAppleBuckeyeI did a similar post on that "other site" years ago, and thought I would try this again. Which college conference boasts the best offensive/special teams starting lineup in the NFL? I will take a stab at the Big 10 to start this off ...
BIG 10
QB - Tom Brady (backup Drew Brees)
RB- Rashard Mendenhall
WR- Santonio Holmes
WR- Mario Manningham
TE- Dallas Clark
K - Nate Kaeding
KR - Ted Ginn
Not bad, although the dropoff after Mendenhall is steep, and receivers could be better ... I am probably forgetting someone big, but I am bored and just rushed through this ... who else?? -
Hb31187Wr Brandon Lloyd
Wr-Derrick Mason
Wr Braylon Edwards
Wr Lee Evans
RB- Pierre Thomas
RB- Shone Greene
RB- Marion Barber
Other Rbs/Wr's -
Tiger2003RB- Pierre Thomas Saints, Shonn Greene Jets, Marion Barber Cowboys
WR- Braylon Edwards Jets, Derrick Mason Ravens,
Didn't see your post HB we were going the same route.

Tiger2003I would add Kris Dielman for offensive guard Chargers. Played at Indiana. Undrafted now he is a 4X All Pro.

daveDon't have much time, here's a quick MAC one. Their starters can compete with anyone, but they obviously aren't very deep

WR Moss, Jennings, Moore, Walter
RB Turner, Taylor, Starks
TE Gates, Scheffler
