Kansas State's Jacob Pullen says...

karen lotzIf Kansas State doesn't win enough games to make it into the NCAA tournament, but is invited to the NIT, he won't play.

Midstate01hahahahaha

sportswizuhrdHmm...Didnt he get suspended for multiple games? He better hope they arent team 69 or 70. Then the blame goes on him.

centralbucksfanAnd this is exactly WHY KSU isn't currently where they should be record/ranking wise.

That's what I was thinking. One of the top teams in the preseason and they currently are one of the bigger underachievers out there. Having that sort of attitude around can't be helping. "If we're not good enough to make the Big Dance, screw you guys, I'm going home!" -
CinciX12I personally like the attitude. I have some Dayton friends that actually went out and bought NIT Championship shirts after last year. I mean honestly, why not just go find a fat girl and then buy a shirt to wear that says I just slept with a fat girl. The NIT sucks. No one wants to play in it. Its like being caught beating off by your mom.

No, it's nothing like that and your statements are pretty damn ignorant.
Sometimes, as a competitor, you don't finish on top or where you should. But that shouldn't keep you from being a competitor. What he's basically saying is that he's in it for himself and his teammates don't matter.
As others have said, this attitude is a big reason why KSU is underachieving. You don't want to be in the NIT? Don't get into a presser and tell people about, SHOW them with your play.
If I was his coach, he'd have gotten a stern talking to. I'm guessing Frank Martin probably did that. -

It's probably just because KS just keeps playing 'trap games' right? -

So what is the difference for him saying this and the Notre Dame seniors deciding not to play in a bowl game last year? They are both exhibition games. -

You seriously still on the Minny trap game thing?
You can't be this dumb, can you?
A trap game is either
A) A game where you could get caught looking ahead towards a rival opponent (in this case, Michigan)
B) Taking a team (that is capable of beating you) that is not as talented as you/ranked as high as you lightly (in this case Minny)...
OSU had been blowing through EVERYBODY. I felt it essential that OSU had a close call or a tough game, such as they did against Iowa to not fall into a "trap" against Minny. If we had lost to Minny, it would have been a upset, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
Is it REALLY that hard to understand? I don't think so.
As it is, I love to see OSU tested and don't really care if they drop a couple of games or so in the Reg. Season, because in CBB the teams will decide it in a playoff format. -

O_o
I'm not even going to reply to this nonsense. -

Hahaha! Honestly you're right though. In golf when we played in a difficult tournament against alot of great programs getting for instance 4th out of 16 is very rewarding and you go home knowing that you competed with the best. Then when you play against a bunch of teams who slice it all over the place and don't know the rules and win...well you're thinking more about what you're gonna get after the day to eat -
gamauterAfter watching him last night I don't think it matters if he plays or not.

It was the home big ten opener against a ranked opponent. You're going to continue to look dumb justifying it.
