He would have gotten paid at UM. But rumor has it, that UM AD wasn't overly interested in hiring him. But I think he was pressured into meeting.
As far as the pressure at LSU? No doubt, its there. And with the talent he has, and has coming back...he is expected to win, and win big. They are top 5 next year. 2/3 loss season will get them restless real quick. -

He was offered twice and turned down both offers. He is taking less pay to stay at LSU.
