Auburn dominated Oregon?

  • rydawg5
I listened to the radio all day, and all the media guys were talking about the domination of Auburn against Oregon.

    Here were the main themes:

    Auburns defense dominated Oregon's O

Oregon's gimmicky offense doesn't work against TOP teams and it was exposed

    -----------

I noticed they never really mentioned the score much. it's almost like they'd whisper it.. "the domination of the BCS game and it was shhhh 21-19"

    ----------

I admit that the Oregon's Offensive line was BLOWN UP against Auburn's DLINE. However, unlike Big 10 teams, Oregon's stayed right in the game.

When OSU's oline was blown up by Florida and 42-14 happened the 14 point loss against LSU also had this trend.

Mich St was dominated by Alabama and you saw the result.

No one mentions that Oregon's Defense was doing just as well, in a different way, although they sputtered at the end..

No one mentions that the Oregon "gimmick" withstood complete domination and had a real chance to take the game into OT and if they kicked a field goal in the redzone instead in the third then it would have been a different game.

It just was crazy listening today.

Were you listening to ESPN guys? If you think the SEC mouth hugs were bad before, now that the "worldwide leader" has a contract with the SEC it will only get worse.

I was as pissed as anyone with how the tattoo 5 situation was handled, but couldn't believe the double standard that they had for Auburn. All the talking points were about how Cam is overcoming adversity. Give me a break, dude , err dudes dad accepted at least 200k for his recruitment and he is a saint? The OSU guys sold their property, stuff they earned and they owned and their talking point was that they weren't punished enough?

they got you to listen didn't they?

most guys won't say stuff that is exactly truly correct about the situation just to generate buzz and listeners...

I haven't listened to or watched an ESPN program since the Alamo Bowl rape of OSU and its program.

My hope is that, someday, Fox will get the $$ to buy rights to all Big Ten games and become a true competitor to The Mouse. That way, I'll never have to watch BSPN again, even for games.

    It's a pipe dream, I know.
