    Thanks wildcats20

I figured you might get around to it, but I was looking at the page and I saw your thread, so I posted them. Not trying to steal your thunder...lol

Pretty much what I expected as far as top 10 goes.
  • cats gone wild
Usually I do end up posting the whole list, but I was busy looking at the topics from today. Wasnt complaining, appreciating that you posted it.

I wonder if TCU would of beaten Auburn last night if they played. I think they could of.
  • wildcats20
If TCU plays like they did in Pasadena and Auburn plays like they did last night, I would say yes they could have beaten them. Then again you can make that claim for a lot of the top 10 after watching how bad both teams looked at times last night.

To me, the best looking team in a bowl game has obviously been Alabama. Followed closely by Stanford.

Anyone else see where Herbie put OSU at 9th in the final rankings? SMH.

I didn't see it but the Hineygate forum has been talking about it.

I saw that. Herbie a bit bitter about Pryors comments??
  • that_guy
Herbie had Ohio State at #6 before the bowls. After beating Arkansas he dropped them three spots. I've usually defended him when OSU fans have ripped him in the past, but I'm done defending him.
  • darbypitcher22
    Pretty much right IMO

if this is the case, I've lost a lot of respect for the guy

Well, I have a hunch that if Oregon had won, Auburn would still be ranked #2 ahead of TCU but that's only because the SEC is superior in every shape, manner, and form.

Check 2006. OSU got HAMMERED by Florida and they dropped to 2.

Yeah I'm getting to that point to. Herbie is too invested with sucking at the power teet of ESPN rather than giving his own school any respect. Pryor pretty much pegged Herbie right by calling him a fake ass Buckeye.
  • OhioStatePride2003
The SEC has as many teams in the Top 10 as the Big10.
  • griddad
over the past few years Herbie has turned into another ESPN jock sniffer, along with Dr.(jk) Robert Smith,,must be spending too much time with Musberger and Fowler(who also had the Bucks 9th)

Make sure you pick a poll that fits your argument. The one half of the SEC is better than any conference top to bottom. 5 out of 6 teams ranked in the top 15.

How Kirk has ranked the past Sugar Bowl winners.
    - Last year Florida moved up a spot on his ballot with their win over Cincinnati
    - The year before Utah moved up two spots with its win over Alabama
    - The year before that, Georgia moved up two spots for their win over Hawaii

So you can go up 2 spots for beat flippin' Hawaii but you drop 3 for beating a damn good SEC squad? Blatant disrespect.

By the way, Kirk has been asked about his dropping of OSU and his response was that 'he was sleepy when he put it together.' Pure gold, Herbie.

Same way as it is every year with the loser of the NCG.

Never did like Kirk either...My ranking of ESPN College football analysts:

    Lou Holtz...nothing but the best!

    Everyone else....
    Kirk Herpie
    Craig James
    Jesse Rosie Palm...er
    Brent Fberger
    Rece Davis
    Chris Fowler
    Mrs. Herpie...I mean Erin Andrews

ANd most hated....you guessed it.....Mark May.

This is a joke, no way OSU is #9.....goes to show how much he really knows about football.
  • hoops23
Kirk is definitely butt hurt that Pryor nailed him.
  • HitsRus
Herbie has become a reverse homer...someone who is trying so hard to show he's impartial that he hammer's his 'home team'. Over the years, I've seen umpires do this....I suppose it could apply to sportscasters too.

Definitely agree. Chris Fowler is one I was always ok with but it seems like he's been full of snide remarks towards OSU over the past couple years so he's quickly on his way to becoming another ESPN douche.

How sad is it, that as a Buckeye, Desmond Howard and Todd Blackledge are the most tolerable college football guys on ESPN for me? smdh.
