Your final Top 10

TCU also benefitted from a narrowly missed 38 yd fg. Some serious clock mismanagement at the end of the half by Wisky also helped. It's Wisky's fault they lost just as much as anything.

So in other words, Wisconsin didn't do enough to beat the other team. TCU did enough to beat Wisky. Therefore TCU > Wisky.

If you guys are going to use those excuses, why I don't I see you taking away from OSU's win saying that "well OSU benefitted from dropped passes, and an interception"

Why are people afraid to put AUb or Oregon on their list. I said what is "your guess". Your post will look more relevant if you pick the title winner before it happens.

Because the game is played on the field and I can't "guess" as to who will actually be the better team. I am a fan of reality, not guesswork.

One win is what, about 8% of the season? It isn't the be all, end all...and a lot of people are going to downplay the other 90+% of their schedule as has been discussed time and time again.

But hte people who's opinion matter's won't, and TCU will be no lower than #3

    1. Oregon I loathe the Ducks but I hate the SEC more.
    2. TCU deservedly so.
    3. Auburn (if I have to)
    4. Stanford (Although I think OSU would beat 'em.)
    5. OSU Another Top 5/Top 10 finish for Tress. Most BCS bowl games and most BCS wins.
    6. Boise State
    7. Alabama
    8. Oklahoma
    9. LSU
    10. Wisky

    1. NCG winner
    2. NCG loser if it's close / TCU if it's not close

    5. Ohio State
    6. Oklahoma
    7. LSU
    8. Alabama

Mind explaining how a 3 loss bama team jumps 6 spots over a 1 loss OSU team that won the bowl game? I know they blasted Sparty but let's be real here

Hell, he has Bama above LSU... a team they lost to! If that tells you anything...

No way Wisky should be rated ahead of OSU. The Bucks have better wins and one less loss.

Would you just like everyone to post the final coaches' poll repeatedly? The thread title is 'YOUR final Top 10'. Some people don't think TCU was better than Stanford or Ohio State. It is their opinion (thus the point of the thread), get your manties out of a bunch.

No, i am saying that the people that are paid to analyze CFB think they are a top 3 team, obviously there is something there. Putting them low makes no sense to me.... and no one has been able to explain it to me. They had the 2nd best win this bowl season and went undefeated, yet no one can give me a good reason to NOT have them #3 or better.
  • dtdtim
I think they are a Top 3 team, but that's MY opinion.

It is entirely plausible that Ohio State and Stanford are better. And there's no way to refute that opinion because none of them played each other. Yes, them going undefeated and having the 2nd best bowl win is good evidence, but it's not irrefutable evidence. One could say that, given the same schedule and bowl circumstance, Ohio State and Stanford may have had the same result.
  • LJ
Given the same Bowl, TCU is better than Ohio State. The transitive property doesn't really work like that, but if people are going to use it one way, it has to be used both.
  • Tobias Fünke
    1- Auburn
    2- Alabama
    3- Oregon
    4- Texas Christian
    5- Stanford
    6- Wisconsin
    7- Boise State
    8- LSU
    9- Ohio State
    10- Oklahoma

I know it looks nothing like the final, but this is just my opinion.
  • KR1245
I had the Bucks ranked 3rd in my rankings. I think they could beat anybody in the country right now
  • Tobias Fünke
I think there are ~10 teams who could beat any team in the country right now. Teams are unpredictable.
