Any truth to this?

Improper Benefits? The Columbus Dispatch found three traffic violations committed by Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor in cars belonging to a Columbus car salesman and an Auto Direct dealership in Columbus. Pryor claimed he borrowed one of the cars to test drive and another while his car was being fixed. Auto Direct had “about two dozen” autographed jerseys, including those of Terrelle Pryor, Daniel Herron and DeVier Posey. Ohio State investigated and found no violations. In other Terrelle Pryor news from the weekend, when he was asked about ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit (a former OSU QB), Pryor said, “I don’t worry about what Kirk Herbstreit says, to be honest with you … Has he beat Michigan?” [Dispatch]

I do not see it anywhere els.

yea the link did not work for whatever reason so I pasted the article now.

Did you not read the Dispatch article that discredited this?

And yes, Terrelle did say that about Herbstreit. When Tressel was asked about it today at the press conference he said (not verbatim) that sometimes you wish somethings would not have been said but there was nothing he could do about it, it's America.

sorry was not trying to start anything, I did not really think it was a big deal any way. I just wanted to see if it was true and to get more info about the car part. I could care less what he says about Kirk.

This is the same shit that was debunked by the "most thorough investigation in NCAA history."

Nice try Funke...as I've attested to many times the "Six Prix" should have been suspended from tonights game, but just making up shit like the blogger in your link does is beyond stupid.

Buckeye football will survive this latest debacle and continue to be the most beloved program in the country no matter what happens tonight or nine months from now.

    Tiernan,

Let me know when you see your Adam's apple because you have your head so far up your own butt it isn't funny.

The most beloved program in the country? Get a life. Major colleges all over the map have fan bases just as big and "beloved" as OSU. Just because you are a fan of OSU doesn't mean the whole country is in love with them.

My god you're easy...did you taste the entire hook, line and sinker when you bit on that one sparky!?!?

So far this appears to be a non-story, but as I said in the TP thread, this whole thing just seems very sketchy to me. I think there is a lot of smoke here, not sure if the NCAA feels the same way. There are far too many coincidences and inconsistencies with TP's story for my liking

    He must be new.

Easy people. I just found that on the internet. Of course it's a blog and should only be taken as such. But it was just that and an NFL draft website that mentioned anything on the matter.

That blog makes a lot of unsubstantiated accusations. I know that.

I'm a huge Buckeye fan, and honestly, I'll be happy when Pryor is out of Columbus. I'm actually hoping he renigs on his word to stay, and gets the hell out of town.

He already owns a Dodge Charger. What other Dodge would be better? He took his car in for service and got a loaner while they worked on it, come on people use your head.

I'm pretty sure you can't say renigs anymore.
