    That was pretty good, equalizer.

He was a Miami commit but we weren't that high on him. I almost bet he decommits from ND before signing day depending on who the coach is.

lol, of course not. It's the new thing for schools to offer full rides to kids they aren't real "high" on. Makes sense.

Why do O$U fans even run their mouth's about BCS games? When was the last time they won one?
the last BCS win for the buckeyes was against the Irish.

back on topic good get for the Irish. While it's wierd that this guy commits without ND naming a coach, I doubt he knows anything more than we do. My guess would be he always wanted to play in South Bend and nothing was going to dissuade him.

and Notre Dame has been effectively discredited as a football program by most on here, so why would OSU fans think its a good win?? You can't have it both ways

just like you. I answered his question. I didn't say it was the greatest win in buckeye history.

I'll quote you from earlier in this thread.
    "don't be so sensitive"

That's why he even admitted Miami stopped talking and contacting him months ago. Sometimes schools lose interests in early commits as bigger and better ones come along.

    Dodged a bullet eh?

Haha, nobody says anything about his stars so you couldn't copy and paste your usual crap. You really reached for that one, must be all that stretching you do when you go on a run.

Chris Martin commits to Cal, kind of surprising. Chooses the bears over ND, Florida, USC, and Oklahoma.

^^^^^I read that earlier. You win some and you lose some. I hope Kelly keeps up the good recruiting work ala Weis.

LOL--I just read through this entire thread, and the only thing I got out of it was that OldDanTucker is still a douchebag--incredible!!!

Nice pick up for Cal by the sound of it.

Agreed, I think Kelly will hold his own. Martin was a sketchy "commit" from the start, never really felt comfortable with his committment. Just surprised he chose Cal over some of the mentioned schools that offered him.
  • Speedofsand
Martin's mom wanted him to stay close to home. He is a momma's boy.

It's not about him picking Cal over (just) ND. With Oklahoma, USC and Florida also on his list.....it's a bit surprising.

    Notre Dame sucks.
  • cbus4life
Cal is a great place to play, and not surprised at all he picked them over the other schools on the list.

Great academics, just as good if not better than any other school on the list. Close to home. Beautiful campus. And a decent enough program where he could really shine.

    Good decision, on his part.
