Lady Buckeyes!!! Foster "the clown" and his team...
-
Be Nicewill be a long shot now to make it to the Final 4. I say they lose 2-3 more regular season games.
-
wildcats20They are always a long shot to make the Final 4. Foster SUCKS in the Tourny.
-
Big GainHe's a terrible defensive coach. All he cares about is big post players.
-
Be NiceHe should have taken Lauren Prochaska. She would have helped this team soooooooo much. His loss. He's an idiot.
-
vball10setCoach Foster has done what he could here, but it's time TOSU got some new blood in there--I'd like to see them take a stab at Curt Miller from BGSU.
-
gerb131It doesn't matter. UCONN is 30 points better than anyone else in womens game.
-
Cleveland BuckWho watches women's basketball?

mallymal614Oh my goodness! I had a feeling when I clicked on this thread that OSU may have lost again. I didn't know that have lost TWICE since the Uconn game. A lost to Duquesne? Foster is pitiful.
-
LeonardoThe Lady Buckeyes have now lost three in a row and four of their last five, and only one loss was to a ranked team (Connecticut).

"Take a Stab". You tickle Curt Miller and he'd crawl from BG to Columbus for the job. -
gerb131They got beat by Marist I think last year in the tourney...writing is on the wall.
-
Midstate01foster needed to go 2 years ago. he did all he could with the program. Its going nowhere fast now. Time to make the next move.
-
gamauterHe is no Beth Burns.
-
Be Nice...and they lose again. LOL LOL LOL This time to Michigan. Nice job, Foster and team. yea, baby.

WriterbuckeyeThose of us who have followed women's basketball have wanted Foster gone for several years now. He doesn't recruit well in one of the best states for producing women basketball players, and his entire offense typically consists of reversing the ball and feeding the post. When that doesn't work, he's clueless how to attack the basket.
If OSU had an AD with any balls, Foster would be gone, despite a few years left on his contract. If given to the right coach, the OSU women's team could be a perennial top 10 team, and making deep runs into the NCAA -- and the attendance would at least pay for the program. Right now, it's losing money, which is a joke. -
Be Nice^^^very, very, very well said.

Tho I'm not a Coach Foster fan, when does the responsibility or accountability fall on the players? After all, Coach Foster doesn't take 1 shot or grab 1 rebound. Their attitude on the court is terrible. -

You'd have to get the attendance numbers up to nearly the men's level to accomplish that. Not saying it is impossible but its a long shot, top 10 team or not. -

...and I think only Tennessee and Connecticut (and maybe Stanford) can claim that -

I agree with much of that. While I'm admittedly not a huge fan of women's basketball, I find it hard to get behind the Lady Bucks to any real degree just because I know that with Foster, there's no point to getting my hopes up, as he seems incapable of leading the team to high-profile wins against tough non-conference teams. All things considered, the "have a good regular season, get good NCAA seed, get eliminated quickly" season that's his forte shouldn't be considered good enough.
