OSU fans, will Duron Carter be back next season????

  • 77Legend
With losing Posey and Sanzy, I know we will be young but it will help if Duron is coming back. Any news?
  • Cleveland Buck
    No.
  • tcarrier32
    not even a chance.
  • gerb131
Nah I'd say he heads to Oregon.

Carter has already said that there is no chance of him returning next seson.

Apparently you have never heard of Braxton Miller

Theyll have a QB, just matters how fast Miller catches on

Why did he chose not to comeback to OSU? Was it not his fault that he didn't do good with his grades?

I am also informed enough to know that the kid only went 18-8 over his last 2 years and isnt ranked in the top 50 among HS QB's when it comes to passing and only 37th in total offenseive putout. So as a reciever.........there might be better choices out there.

I'm no Braxton Miller expert, but as a Northmont alum I know for sure he didn't lose anywhere near 8 games. I'd also bet most of the games he did lose the last 2 years were to private schools with a lot more talent than Wayne.

According to gwocsports.com Wayne went 18-7 the last 2 years. I believe he was hurt for a part of last season?

    2010
lost to Moeller, Springfield, St Eds.

    2009
    lost to Glenville and Elder

If you are going to make up shit and say you are informed you might want to pay more attention to the kid that you say is 10mins from you.

Yes, I can read. Wayne was 7-4 and 11-4 the last 2 years. We are talking about Braxton Miller. He didn't play in 3 of those losses. Try again.

Duron Carter might not be able to read the playbook so I don't see it as a loss that he wouldn't be coming back to OSU next season. How is someone who has every opportunity to succeed so fucking retarded?

It wasn't his choice OSU did not tell him they wanted him back.

Duron Carter would have been the seventh player suspended in Tatoo-gate if he had been around, you can be sure of that as thick as he was with the Annoited One. Good riddance to bad trash.

No, and OSU wil be better without him. He was a headache his freshman year. He never really wanted to work hard in practice or the class room. Hell, the guy chose to play video games allll the time instead of doing his homework or studying the playbook. So as far as I'm concerned, good riddance. If you flunk out your first quarter of freshman year, I have no sympathy for you. Especially when you're a football player and professors are more lenient and understanding of your situation.

Next year we'll be young as hell at WR, but I think we'll be okay by the end of the season. Louis, Fields, Brown (he's got to learn to catch the damn ball though), Jackson, and Ty Williams are all going to have a chance to make an impact. It would be nice if Flash was still at OSU though.

Thank goodness Carter won't be back in Columbus. Guy blew multiple opportunities while he was in Columbus and never seemed to learn. He blew his chance here and there was no reason to give him a 4th or 5th chance.

In the Dispatch it says that they never offered him, but I had heard even before that, that it was basically impossible for him to return because his grades were so poor before he left.

ccrunner609;614530 wrote:Are you his roommate? Cause you know all this first hand , right?

It's really common knowledge around the team. He never studied or met with tutors and he couldn't get a handle on the playbook. A lot of his time was spent into video games and being on the internet.

If you fail your first quarter of your freshman year, you have no desire.

By the way, quit being a douche. Like all your information is first hand? Like some others on this site, I have my sources that are either on the team or involved with the team. These sources have been pretty accurate over the last 3 years in which I've had them.

It wasn't Carter who chose not to, it was OSU who chose not to let him return to the team. From what I have read, he could be eligible to transfer back, but OSU football wasn't going to give his scholarship back.
