Ryan Shazier Commits to Ohio State

Massive get at a position of need. This class, if a few others come on board, is going to be off the charts defensively.

    Here's his scout profile.

One of his strengths is speed. Does that get taken off once they update his page to show his commitment to Ohio State? :)

Especially if Tressel can close with the Grants - Doran and Curtis.

God damn it. My phone didn't work or I could have posted this from work. We served the recruiting banquet today, Tressel got the call at the end and broke the news to all of the recruits personally late in the dinner. Whether it was staged or not, I have no idea.

It was very neat to see how Ohio State pulls out all of the stops for recruits.

On a different note, this dude is from "Plantation, FL." WHAT THE FUCK. How did people not decide to change the name, I don't know, a hundred years or so ago?

Well if the kid wants conference titles, BCS bowls and national title hunt every year; he's going to the right place.

an agricultural estate usually worked by resident labor
    That's from your link

That resident labor in the South was slavery. That's why people equate plantations with slavery.
  • Tobias Fünke
Plantation carries a huge slavery connotation with it. I'm surprised it's even debatable.
