Here's the job posting. It says that it's a 40 hour a week (variable) job and that "additional hours will be required during peak periods to include evenings, weekends, and holidays." Seems like a decent job to me, and I know that we have some brilliant defensive minds on here. Feel free to send them your resume.

Lol, there should be plenty of applicants from Ohio Chatter alone. I bet there are more than a few in Texas too!

They forgot to add "Must be able to survive being run over by bus driven by head coach"

I applied. I'm sure I'll get it, as I sent them a tape of my NCAA '11 defense, which also shows my ability as a recruiter.

I hope you seriously did, so you can post your rejection letter if they sent you one.

I was in college when Notre Dame fired Tyrone Willingham and if you remember they had interviewed and offered the job to several people but they had all turned ND down (I believe that Weis was the fourth person they offered the job to and he wasn't even in the initial pool of applicants that they interviewed). Since their coaching search wasn't going well and since it appeared that no one wanted to be the next head coach at Notre Dame I actually sent a letter to the athletic department expressing my interest in the job. About a week later I got a letter back on official ND letterhead thanking me for my interest but informing me that the university was choosing to go in another direction. Unfortunately the letter got lost (likely inadvertently thrown away) a few years later when my parent's moved. I really wish I still had that letter!
