So...If Oklahoma loses to Uconn

In the Fiesta bowl, how hot does Bob Stoops' seat become in Norman? We all know OU's struggles in BCS games especially recently (2-5 overall, 0-5 in the last 5 BCS appearances). I know they won the Big12 again this year (Stoops should mail Mack Brown a thank you note for Texas's unexpected trainwreck this year) but really, if they drop to 2-6 in BCS games, going 0-6 in the last 6 appearances by losing to a 4 loss team from what's generally considered the weakest AQ conference in the country, how long are the natives willing to keep Stoops around at OU?

As long as he keeps winning his conference that seat will not get hot for a long time.

It's hard to fire a coach who wins his conference every year. People would certainly begin grumbling in Normal, but you simply can't fire a guy who wins 10 games and the conference championship every year. Who would you replace him with that's better? I guess the situation is similar to Cooper at Ohio State, but Cooper didn't just lose his bowl game, he also lost to his rival every year and that often cost him the conference title. Stoops beats Texas and wins the conference.
