Ytown Representing!

Did anyone else see this clip of coaches from Youngstown on Gameday today? Pretty interesting, I think they said something like 14 of the last 19 teams to play in the BCS national title game had a coach on the team with Youngstown ties.

don't worry about it, you said "I think they said...", so you weren't making a definitive statement....anyway, it was an excellent story, and having ties to Youngstown, it was nice to see it shed in a positive light---GO 'GUINS!!!

I thought the story was great...just a few problems with it.

    - I hate whenever there is any type of story about Youngstown...they have to show run down dilapidated steel mills. I get it...the city isn't what it used to be. But to show those shitty abandoned buildings EVERY time there is a story about Youngstown is annoying.

    - They pronounced Don Bucci's last name incorrectly.

    - Mooney has 7 State Championships...not 6 as they reported in the story.

Other than that...I think it's really cool that all of those coaches have ties to Youngstown. And I think it's even cooler to have walked in the same hallways as guys like Bo Pelini and the Stoops brothers.

I agree they always show abandoned buildings. It's very annoying!! It's the exact same thing I said to my mom yesterday when I called her to tell her about it.

I think it's the same footage that CBS showed before Mancini beat Frias for the title in '82. It's on a continuous loop.
