Final Thoughts from "The Game"

ernest_t_bassWhat I (honestly) see is that his hand is now around (grabbing onto) the back of the Michigan players jersey, taking him to the ground. It is, however, a poor angle.
I am neither going to agree or disagree with the call, but agree to the fact that I understand why the official called it. In order to make a proper judgement on the call (and not just speculate) I would want to see close ups and different angles of the call, perhaps in slow motion. I'm not going to make a definite guess based on pure assumption. -

I won't disagree with that. I can see that angle, and can accept your valid opinion. What befuddles me is that no one can at least accept an opinion in dissent. -

Yes they can! -
ytownfootballNBD...I'll still say it was BS but keeping things in perspective it really didn't matter.

Aww, thanksth. -
ptown_trojans_1My final thoughts:
1. Michigan needs a defense more than anythign else. Switching to the 3-4 was a huge failure.
2. Michigan needs a kicker. The fact that they do not have a good one, given it is Michigan is a joke and a disgrace.
3. Michigan needs to get competitive again. I left the stadium feeling it wasn't the same rivalry, it wasn't a fair fight, which is sad. -

Did they not just recruit a record setting kicker out of Ohio? What happened to him? I agree and think that having to go for it at least 3 times, instead of getting 9 points, was a huge problem. -
dwccrewI don't think Sanz committed a holding penalty, but I do think the ONLY reason he was given the penalty is because both players fell near the goalline and the ref mistakenly thought Sanz tackled the defender.

And when they fix the ACL(at least with the method they used with me, theres numerous diff ways to fix it) they drill through the growth plate and I wasnt abotu to take a chance of having my bones grow crooked. And i got 3-4 opinionsgeorgemc80;581715 wrote:^^^^^
not when it comes to a record breaking run
Dane should have cut the guy long before the face mask or any possible hold. Holding was an insane call.
BTW...
not sure if youre telling us everything, but you needed a second opinion. I tore all three ligaments as a 5'9 freshman. Had them all repaired and grew to be 6'3 (and that was over 25 years ago) -

Same thing happened to me when I tore my ACL.
I blew it out in 8th grade and couldn't get it fixed until 10th because they were going to drill through the growth plates in my knee. -
Tiger2003The ref called Dane for holding when he was engaged with the defender about the 15 yard line. Dane's right hand does get outside...but I really don't know how much of a hold it really was.
