It wouldn't be fair to Alabama if Florida were able to play in the SECCG and Alabama wasn't since Alabama dominated Florida right?Ty Webb;571917 wrote:It's a completely different situation...
Florida's conference has divisions, had they won their division, then yes,it would have been fair.
If Wisconsin,Ohio State, and Michigan State all win out...Michigan State should be the out-right Big 10 Champ
If Michigan State loses,Wisconsin should be the out-right Big 10 Champ -

I was posting at the same time and it wasn't sending from my phone.I'm sure you think its perfectly fair that Wisky gets a share even though they lost to Sparty.
Read my post above your's wildcats -
Ty WebbNice that Ohio State fans are ok with backing into a championship they don't deserve or didn't earn

Are Florida and Alabama in the same division?? No they aren't....As I said...completely different situation -
karen lotzDidn't Florida back into a NCG a few years ago? That was ok by you I'm sure...

Not really. Under the rules set by the Big Ten, OSU would be a co champ. Just as in the SEC, despite being completely embarrassed by good teams, Florida would have a shot at the SEC championship. -

Please explain how did we back into the either the '08 or '06 National Championships?? I would like to hear that -

Do you not understand....Florida would have won their division, then maybe have won a conference championship game.
Kinda like Ohio State got completelt embarrassed by the only good team they have played? -

Urban had to openly campaign for them to get in the NCG. -

Yes I understand that. I'm simply pointing out what a horrible case you are making by making an equally bad case for the SEC's situation. Do you not understand that under the current set up and rules of the Big Ten, if 2 or more teams have the same conference record, they are all conference champions, no matter who beat who?Ty Webb;571945 wrote:Do you not understand....Florida would have won their division, then maybe have won a conference championship game.

Did we not win our conference championship?? I believe so. We earned our spot in the '06 BCS Title game and proved it by kicking your ass
ARe you ok with Tressel campaigning to get Ohio State into the '07 BCS Title game when they didn't even win the Big 10? -

That's a shit way to determine things -
karen lotzYou played for Florida? I find that hard to believe. Also, I'm not an OSU fan at all.

Then why is your picture Eddie George??
So it's ok for Ohio State fans to say we...but not me?? -
firestonefanIt's the Big Ten, Tough league, I look for Wisconsin to lose even without NW QB.

Write Jim Delany a letter, I'm sure he'd love to hear your reasoning. Also, as previously mentioned, the Big Ten will have a CG next year when Nebraska joins so your argument will have even less relevance very soon. -

Okay, dude...I'm a Florida fan so I shouldn't do this. But you are really being a fucktard. The divisional setup is retarded when you can have a 3 or 4 loss conference team playing for a title over 1 and 2 loss teams in the conference. Even if they pull an upset, are they really the best team since there could still be three teams with a better record in the conference? The answer is, "that is how our conference works". The same way "that is how conferences without championship games work" in Ohio State's case. It isn't the school/team's job to say, "oh wait a minute, the system should work this way so I'm going to give up my shot/title". Still waiting for you to cite one example of a conference that doesn't recognize co-champs. -

Please stop posting.
If you are talking about the 07 BCS Title game(the one following the 06 season), OSU beat Michigan to win the outright B10 Title.
If you are talking about the 08 BCS Title game(the one following the 07 season), OSU won the outright B10 Title again. -

Since when did you become a Florida fan? -

Around 1981, I guess. You gonna answer my question now? -
Ty WebbThis is really a silly arugment....
There is NO WAY any can justify that Ohio State deserves even a share of the Big 10 Title -
ytownfootballUh oh, somebody made a new friend...

Yes there is. The Big Ten, WHO NAMES THEIR CHAMPION(S), says so.
Are you really that dumb? -
ytownfootballYou would think someone who bashes the Big10 as much as he does would know how the conference champion is determined.
