Laley23Hoffarber makes the list forever, because he was featured so prominently on ESPN in HS for his sitting down game winning shot!
-
Red_Skin_PrideKyle Singler from Duke.
Summers from Michigan State.
Lighty from OSU.
Gary Johnson from Texas.
None of these will ever top my all-time top two. Carl Krauser from Pitt who has already been mentioned. I'm 23...Krauser started at Pitt when I was like 6, and just left like 2 years ago. And Salim Stoudamire, who was only at Arizona for almost all of Lute Olsen's tenure. -
charliehustle14Looking ahead, Robbie Hummel getting a redshirt this year will make him a favorite for the "he's still playing?" award next year.

reclegend22Redskins:
As mentioned previously, Karl K is my all-time winner of this prize. Paul "The Next Laettner" Davis is a close second. He was a backcourt mate of Shawn Respert in 1995 as a 10-year-old before eventually growing into a forward over the next decade. He is also Jack Breslin, for whom the Spartans' home-court is named. Damn I hated that kid, almost as much as Tyler Hansbrough. But not quite. -
reclegend22Also, not sure why I referenced you as Redskins.

johngrizzlyGranville Waiters played 7 years at Ohio State and made appearances on Sanford and Son.
-
TBone14Staying with Villanova as mentioned earlier, Corey Stokes has been there forever.
As for all-time, Wayne Chism from Tennessee is up there in my book. -
Tiger2003I know this is basketball but watching the Oregon vs Oregon State game it seems like Quizz Rodgers and his brother have been with the Beavers forever.

Fred FlintstoneI used to say the same thing about Acie Earl. It seemed like he played for Iowa for about 12 years.

Will Graves would have been my choice, but alas. So I will have to go with a team choice this year. Kentucky has been playing for a long time.
David Lighty and Joe Mazulla are probably the two best ones. My God, they remind me of a guy that used to drive a mountain bike around Bowling Green State carrying a boombox radio. He was in college for at least two decades. IIRC, Lighty guarded Erik Barkley in the '99 Elite Eight. How many Final Fours has he been to now? Upon looking, I guess just the one.
I graduated from BGSU in May 2008. Boombox Guy was still rockin out when I graduated and probably still is today -
Be NiceGranville Waiters. He was dressed for the Carolina game at St. Johns Arena the other night.
