I have a good feeling he is OSU bound. If he is it will make another fantastic class for matta.

There really shouldn't be any doubt.

What recruit has Matta missed out on that he really wanted and had a chance with? I honestly can't think of anyone. Maybe Payne, but he was Michigan State bound the entire way.

Would be a huge pick up! Kid has big time potential from everything I have read. And he was just at OSU last week as well. So fresh in his mind. And all he has to do is look at what Matta did with Oden as well as Sullinger right now. ;)

I would imagine he had his mind made up prior to the game yesterday.

This is huge with the great class that is here this year as well. Who would have thought that Ohio State basketball could pull in a top 5 recruiting class with 0 kids from Ohio? And two of them from tsun?
    Thompson - Chicago
    Scott - Georgia
    Ross - Mississippi
    McDonald - Battle Creek, MI
    Williams - Detroit, MI

In all fairness to Matta (who loves to take Ohio kids when they fit), this wasn't the best of years for Ohio boys basketball, which is unusual.

If Sullinger decides to stay more than one year, it's going to be an amazing 2 year run for Ohio State. Heck, it might be, anyway, but Sullinger is a real difference maker. Having him with Williams and Ravenhal (sp?) as depth, will be a nice luxury rarely seen in Columbus.

Sullinger is gone. I'd love to see him stay, but a spade is a spade and he's NBA ready as it is.

Amir Williams has either decided or he hasn't -- and if he hasn't, his weak point is coming to conclusions. This would have made Amir a very poor choice to star the opposite of Bill Murray in Quick Change. Amir probably even ate dinner tonight, most people do. I hope he cleaned his plate. (I could not give a f---- about Amir Williams or his dinner plans, but hopefully, after reading the ridiculousness above, nobody will see my plan that follows.) Vanderbilt up 29 to 19 on Carolina at the half. Hopefully, the Commodores can carry the state of Tennessee on their back tonight.

Well, I am now 3-0 using this approach. I like it, but will reserve this formula only for games of absolute essence. This game, sending UNC to 1-2 on the year in retrospect of losing more games last season than the number in which the New England Patriots competed, was of absolute essence. During my pilgrimage out to Kansas City early in the morning, I will be the one driving like the Chinaman in the pick-up truck on that Liberty Mutual commercial. I am holding half an acre ... la da da da la la la ... :)

Hell, I might pretend to be Cecil Fielder and trot there. I'm as cuddlesome as a Mitch Albom book right now.

Here's that commercial if you are feeling as warm as me:

    Sorry, guys;)
