About where I thought it would be. Ohio State's a little higher than I anticipated. It'll be interesting to see the BCS poll when it comes out later this afternoon.

Ohio State is two spots too high

Stanford and Nebraska should both be above them

Yeah and the loss to Texas is just such a great loss....

UCF is the highest ranked team from Florida for the first to time in history.

Wisconsin at 5 is sitting pretty if chaos continues.
OSU at 7 is fine. Stanford can make a case for being ahead of OSU, but Nebraska is a stretch.

Wrong poll. This thread is about the Coaches Poll. The AP Poll means squat anyways!

I know this is the coaches poll thread, but I wasn't going to start a thread just for one observation. Also its supposed to say writer and not writing, my bad.

    OSU is dicked.

Wisconsin is probably going to win out, and no matter what we do the rest of the way it won't be good enough, as it shouldn't be since they whacked us by 2 scores.

Not necessarily. They were talking about this on the radio the other day. If, and this is a big IF, OSU can go into Iowa and win going away(10+pts), it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that they could jump Wisconsin.
I do agree, Wisconsin will probably win out. Although NW could give them a game I think. Crazier things have happened.
  • wildcats20
^^I don't think it's that big of an If as people think.

Northwestern has been kind of a disappointment... raced out to big leads against Michigan State and Penn State that they couldn't hold on to.

And we all know with Tress @ the helm that OSU will not win in Iowa City running away, especially with how we manage a game in November

Not sure about that. He has run up the score much more this year then in the past. I think he realized this year, that OSU had to win impressively. So if he has the chance vs Iowa...again, thats a BIG IF, I think he will do what is needed to put his team in the best scenario as possible. At this point, I don'[t think they can blow by Iowa. I'll just take a win. But will hope for more.

not so fast, my friend--I know tsun sucks, but Wisky hasn't won in Ann Arbor in a very long time, so we Buckeye fans may actually be pulling for the skunkbears on 11/20 (game's at noon)

I have also seen/heard a lot of projections that have OSU jumping Wiscy. Tall order with Iowa at their place, but I honestly think if they win out they'll squeak by Wiscy. There's been a ton of weird shit going on game wise this season so anything is possible.
